Often it depends on which skin you're using. I use StartAllBack , which pretty much eliminates all the Windows 11 lameness ! I also use Old/New Explorer and QTTabBar ..., Explorer is almost tolerable but, there are still some Control Panel applets that look terrible!
EDIT: If you are running Windows 11, and you are using a Windows 10 version of explorer.exe, then be sure to revert back to the Windows 11 version of explorer.exe before applying updates to Windows 11. Otherwise, Windows 11 updates may not be applied properly to the explorer.exe file.
I didn't do that, the hacks I performed, those are what I want to stick, everything is fine... <img

For those experiencing a non-skin-able Taskbar, or, missing Toolbars badly in Windows 11..., copy explorer.exe from Windows 10 to Windows 11, restart PC! (Try at your own risk!!!)

The problem with trying to skin most Chromium browsers is, many of them don't look proper..., Also, for me anyway, I like to slam my cursor hard against the top screen bezel to open and close tabs with middle click quickly, without having to 'bulls-eye' the X or center of the tab; can't do that when they're skinned.

I don't know if it has to do with Fluent Design but, anything higher than Build 21255 has really f*cked up WB!!! How MS can fubar a perfectly decent OS in one fell swoop is beyond me!!! (Sorry for the language but, it really p*sses me off!!!) [e digicons]>:([/e] <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/fo

Well, I blew it!!! The stupid ' 2 in a row ' Builds came down, (21277 and 21279), now I can't get back to 21255!!! [e classic]X-([/e] [e classic]X-([/e] [e classic]X-([/e] I think the glitch has something to do with their frickin Fluent Design crap! If I unload Windows Blinds, I can see a slightly off color shadow on window frames, as per previous screenshot. I think my only option now is a clean install but I don't really want to
Can you make sure to file a bug using the MS feedback tool too please. That certainly looks to be a bug in the OS.
Thanks for the reply Neil! I did some research and, apparently, in that Insider Build, they are possibly experimenting with a UI overhaul, codenamed 'Sun Valley' or 'Cobalt', whatever the heck those are! Anyway, I'm not gonna install the Feedback Hub just to rant about issues
