Sir elvee - Thanks for the info Jachyra..I've always wondered how to keep the Favicons permanently Hhhhuuuuuuuuuuuuummfffffff ?? who gave the link to FavOrg ??
neophil78
paxx, i've of course thought to do it but the https://www.wincustomize.com/favicon.ico is just a little black square ... and the https://www.stardock.com/favicon.ico doesn't look pretty at all (i can't ever see what it is ... )
paxx : i don't get any display of the favicon with IE6 ... even if i bookmark them, so what's going on ??? And Favorg, which is supposed to catch the favicons don't find any favicon too ...
I just wonder why for such a company, and such an activity in Skinning and drawing, the different websites and Wincustomize in first don't get a favicon within the URL's ... ??? It should be nice to have some As i'm talking about this there's a little soft which keeps the favicons's website apart from temporary internet files ==> http://jceel.free.fr/FAVORG.ZIP
I think V3 run without having to exclude it from skinning for me ... and then V6 again ... i'm (at least the english version, we'll see with the french one when it will be out ... <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/
Hhhhuummmmmmm, we may need some help i think ...
The only thing i can tell is that V 6.0 is the first version on my WIN98 system since a while which it's not bugging with WB and which i've not to exclude from beeing skinned.
I had also the same problem, and i fixed it by choosing firstly (and only) the "english" language in the options, then close SKS, reboot, then launched again SKS and it was OK (for me at least ... )
Can't reached Skinbase as far as i'm concerned ...
Found a little bug (and where it happens) in Skinstudio, posted on the 10/30/03 as PhilIP, and in another way, still troubles with Icondeveloper with Win98, also posted the same date and name
If Adam Najmanowicz could get an eye on the skinstudio newsgroup it would be great (as to the icondeveloper newsgroup too ...)
Nope but same for me ... You should get an eye on the SkinStudio newsgroup ...
Neil, will it correct also the troubles with none skinning buttons on some skins, and will it add back the explorer background feature under Win98 ?? [Message Edited]
Yum Yum, i'm still a children ...
Does MCP have anything to do with XML_HTTP Control ??? because since the troubles i get a critical update in Windows Update which is refering to http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/technet/security/bulletin/MS02-008.asp don't know if it may help ... N.B: it's not 3:25 AM for me but 09:25 [Message Edited]
IPlural, when i say i fixed it, i mean i just do things to be able to use my PC normally again, not that I fixed the bug of the program ... (sorry for my english ..)
Yep i do the same, but this time i didn't ..... and the result was not really clean OK, i've finally succeed to fix it on my own, but how many other people may have the problem, without having mentionned it, perhaps in the impossibility to do it ??? (at the beginning i had to take another PC to communicate on the newsgroup ... )
Thanks to have read well the newsgroup sig101 (and nope i did'nt mailed directly support @ stardock : 1°) because as you noticed i was not the first to mention the problem ... 2°) because Stardock guys asked me for a test about the latest WB4 version under Win98 ==> though i thouhgt they might have follow what was going on it ... )
Some of you may read the SDC newsgroup before telling anything ... i'm not the only one who get troubles ...
and there's also another animal calling "the day before the WE" which may be foreign to others though ...
3 days later ... I just wonder what i would have been able to do with my PC since that if i did'nt succeed to fix it myself ... [Message Edited]
I think someone from Stardock should have at least send me the file for re-update SDC from 1.04.185 build 20 to 1.12.212 build 29 (and not 1.15.216 build 30 of course ...)
I think you can't get any kind of trojan or viruses or anything else on a .jpg file ...
nearlly 8 hours i posted on the newsgroup and 4 ½ hours here and still no kind off reaction .... >
If Anyone from Stardock could get an eye on the SDC newsgroup, there are different thread about latest SDC update troubles (and for me VERY BIG troubles ... > )
