I'm well into a new game, using the latest version. I've built plenty of tactical & logistic things. Suddenly, although I have sufficient resources and enough slots, when I go to build anything, the cursor changes and it won't build. The cursor turns gold and three little rectangles appear underneath it. There don't seem to be any clues on screen what the problem is. Any insights? TIA...

Where does this game store its saved games? TIA...
Some excellent suggestions. Thank you. I'm glad I'm not alone in thinking the diplomacy aspect of this game sucks. GV2 is vastly superior in that regard.
NOOB strategy question... I've had the game log enough to master the basics. I've restarted at least a dozen times, mainly playing the Advent in a single player, medium size random map. I understand at least the basic nuances of how to leverage the Advent -- I'm spreading culture as fast as I can, while maintaining a decent economy, a military that's ranked #2, and the most aggressive research I can. I've also been lucky to get a few maps that let me grow to 5-6 planets
Excellent feedback. I've been lurking for a few days, and if the dialog on this forum is any indication of the game quality, I'm sure I won't regret picking up a copy. I will try the demo! Cheers...
There's obviously alot to love about Sins. But I've never been very good at real time games -- I'm more of a melee round, pause and think about the next move kind of gamer. (ala GalCiv) I've played a few real time games that have paced things slowly and steadily enough that I could keep up just fine. Any thoughts on whether Sins would be up my alley? TIA...
