As far as I know, the serial should be in the order confirmation... At least, it was when I ordered the game just before the end of the beta 2 signup period...

I've never had this problem, when playing in a big universe the mouse might react a bit sluggish (Trying to build a military and civilian research stations ends up being two civilian stations) but it always reacts, and I've always been able to close those windows. I also have a Logitech mouse (Laser instead of optical) but no idea what driver I'm using...
Yes, but the current system not only feels natural but follows the standard UI practices -- you move your mouse over a control area and it stops doing stuff elsewhere. Thats pretty much normal, and natural, to any windows user. You want your scroll wheel to scroll any window you mouse it over, if it doesn't you're going to think its broken. Having to press an extra key to regain a small part of your UI (and I really don't think its a 6th of your control area...) just w
After installing the latest patch, I wanted to try a BIG game, too bad the 'Custom galaxy' option is disabled so I changed some files to make a large galaxy a bit larger. After the last patch it seems the 'Long range jumps' research topic isn't needed anymore to travel to other stars. In a game with three computer opponents I saw scouts from all of them fly around my planets and when one of those opponents offered me an intelligence pact, I saw that that opponent was based in another star system (This was very early game by the way).
