One thing my group of friends have pretty much reached consensus on is that a focus on capital ships for one of the next expansions would be great. This could be accomplished with two major actions: 1) Introducing some type of "Super-cap" ship. Along the lines of a mobile starbase in power potential, but a good deal more expensive.
