My greatest concern in reading about this system is the possibility that rather than fostering "interesting decisions" it will rather promote "no-brainer decisions." One avenue of thought related to this is the potential universal utility of the bonus equipments. I begin by assuming that there will be an upgrade system (that is, if you discover magic honey somewhere you can upgrade your existing guys to use it) of some sort since that type of thing is generally logical and fun for pla

I placed a farm on a fertile tile next to my city and it seemed to register fine and all. After a turn of building I changed my mind and canceled the construction with the idea of going back and building it later instead. However, from that point on in the game I was unable to build a farm in that city again.

Same here with the wonky scrolling. For me the Western edge of the screen has never done anything, except for the NW corner which has the effect of scrolling to the SW. The Southern edge sometimes works when I start the game up, but after a minute or two it also become unresponsive. Aside from the NW corner, none of the other corners do anything scolling wise.

One thing my group of friends have pretty much reached consensus on is that a focus on capital ships for one of the next expansions would be great. This could be accomplished with two major actions: 1) Introducing some type of "Super-cap" ship. Along the lines of a mobile starbase in power potential, but a good deal more expensive. Think the Executor from Star Wars or Titans from Eve Online. The awesomeness factor from ships like this would be incredible because, let's face it, the re
PLEASE >>>>>>>> answer these arguments and show me where any of the above points are wrong.
Not trying to be too harsh here, but I'd say that your decision to not put forth sufficient effort to formulate coherent capitalized sentences is probably going to mean that Brad won't be taking the effort to respond.

I guess it does, I'm going to do tha as soon as I get a chance. Would have been nice if we could have gotten responses but its fine, everyone's busy.

When I finish a game and tell it to submit the game logs on to the metaverse and then says that its uploading for a while. Then a box with this message: (16) The results of this game could not be posted to the Metaverse. comes up and it asks me if I want to try again. The same thing comes up every time.

There is a disturbance in the Force. It seems that there's a conspiracy against the jedi in the metaverse. Both Grand Admiral Sherbert and I are having problems uploading finished games. Thats why I at least haven't been able to upload any games yet.

Has anyone else had the problem I had? I'm pretty bummed about not being able to post on the metaverse. I've made sure to turn off all of my virus software and even restart the computer before submitting but it still doesn't work.

What does this error mean: (16) The results of this game could not be posted to the Metaverse. It asks me if I would like to try to post again but the same error keeps popping up. Is this just some generic error message or is something wrong with the Metaverse database right now? I've been getting this message too. This game

Second, about ships, (also in both GC1 and Beta GC2. When negotiating a peace treaty, we can demand and/or offer even planets, but ships and starbases are not allowed. In real life, the victor often carries off the weapons and resources of the defeated. Why not allow ships and starbases as part of the peace treaty? <

Hi everyone, I have a question about the pre-order option from amazon.com. The purchase page states that people who pre-order will get special content and such. Then at the end of the page it links to several online retailers who have the pre-order edition. Amazon.com also has Galciv2 listed and it has an option to pre-order. So I'm wondering if this is just the regular version which will be shipped when ready if its truly the pre-order edition. The reason I'd like to use Amazon

planets stopping once they are controlled by the same empire. If it was found that just halving the route wasn't enough incentive to either stay at peace or make a new route, the penalty could be increased more.
