Would it be possible in a future version of OD to create a feature that would enable the user to be able to lock the dock and limit access to the start menu? When they are ready to use it they would then just enter a password to unlock it.

My secondary computer at home is older and Object dock didn't work to well on it. The animations were slow and jumpy and the program often crashed. I own Object Dock plus and it works great on my pentium 4. Being used to using the dock I went looking for a substitute. I found Rocket Dock. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of OD plus but it does the basics fine and is easy to set up. It operates smoothly on the old celeron proc

Eagerly awaiting update for Object Bar 2.0. I'm not a Object Desktop owner ( though I kick myself for not buying it, instead buying parts of the group here and there till I've spent a good bit more than just purchasing the whole lot) so I was wondering what some of those who've tested the beta think about it? Thanks for your thoughts, CD1

How I wish, how I wish they were here A Floyd reunion tour would be one show I'd be willing to pay big bucks to see. It's been a long time but the one time I saw them play live was by far the best show I ever saw. CD1

You couldn't tell it had been years since they'd played a live gig together. Theirs was the only entire set that was carried live to my knowledge. The Who sounded damn good as well. They don't make music like that anymore. CD1

Chef, Been there and done that. The system tray is there already, the objects are there as well. I can tell because when I mouse over the area they are suppose to be in, their names pop up. When I click on those spaces their menu's open. Problem is, there is no icon showing up. Anyone? Bueller? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smi

How do you get the icons on the system tray to show up on object bar? The tray is there. Mousing over the area the icons are suppose to be, will bring up what programs are there. Unfortunately there are no icon showing up. It's not just one theme, but all of them. I'm a new owner of object bar and was wondering if anyone else had encountered this problem.

I use both Konfabulator and DX. There are some widgets from one that I like better than the other. I think the big problem with DX is the scripting confuses the heck out of me. The current material teaching the basics leaves allot to be desired imho. Stardock would go along way towards bettering it's product by creating some more detailed documentation for beginners. Either that or pinpoint a few individuals that show an aptitude

I'm trying to learn DX scripting but having a limited knowledge of such things the going is slow. Is there a way to write a DX script that re-adjusts the size of the open window when a dock is minimized from the screen or vice versa? Any help would be greatly appreciated. RTR

Still no luck. I'd already downloaded a freeware screenshot program but came up with the same results. I tried saving some of the .png files in the theme to .jpg's and got those parts to show up. Unfortunately not everything can be changed to a jpg. Is there anyone out there I can send this theme to and let them see if they can get a screenshot for me. I'm at a loss. Thanks <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Hmm.gif" b

I've recently completed my first DX Theme but I'm having a problem doing a screen capture to upload with it. Everytime I do the screen capture only the wallpaper shows up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
