Happy Happy, LW. Hope this is a good year for you! All the best, Nicky

It's good to the last dropping. ha! I like the new idea, Zoo. I'm not much for yer common everyday raccoons (as they always try to get into the garbage at night in the summer) but I can certainly dig another species' fondness for fermented beverages.
Would you give up your home phone/landline just as easily? Like Benmeister, I only have a cellphone. As I am rarely home during the week, except to sleep, and because my daughter needs to be able to get in touch with me if something critical is happening, I carry one. If it were possible, I wouldn't own one at all. I text a bit, because it's cheaper and totally at my convenience. I don't have to sit and chat and can just give details about my whereabouts and whenI'llbetheres. <br/
Dynamaso wrote a little sumptin' sumptin' about good manners, and in one part, stated that by simply keeping one's mouth shut, a whole lotta drama can be avoided. He was pointing at the divas, the showboats who DEMAND attention, but I think that, similarly, a whole lot of grief can be avoided by losers who don't know why they're not well liked. A girl in my class, while out on smoke break, mentioned that she wasn't well liked as a child. " Really ?" I asked, trying to sound sin
Lifelike - anatomically correct, parts molded from life-casts
who volunteered for that job?
After getting dumped on by about 45cm of snow in the past 24hrs, I have shovelled out my driveway twice, and my father's driveway once today. I was going to go to the gym today, but knew that all that shovelling was equal to what I would have done on the stairmaster. With aching arms, shoulders and sides, I had a two hour nap this afternoon as well. To counteract all that outdoor activity, I'm internetting while the kids watch Alvin and the Chipmunks and eating pizza. </l
and the pain begins to… “smooth out” <span
like it! excellent dialogue.
I've got some excess weight on me, and actually, am getting heavier after changing jobs, and not having enough time to go to the gym as regularly as I used to. And this time, I can TELL what an extra 5 pounds feel like. Before, I could not. Like Roy, exercise is what works for me. A whole lot of it, too. I was asked to be part of a group at the gym, but dropped it, after noticing the intensity (or lack thereof) level of the core group members. A short stroll on the treadmill, and a b
my own tv died, about 4 months ago, and we've been watching on a little 15 inch telly. talk about how size does matter. Now, whenever I go to somebody's home that has a tv greater than that size, I'm in awe. 52! Lovely.
More snow, but today I embraced it. It's been coming down nonstop for a day now, and though I don't have an official tally, I'm thinking we've gotten hit with at least 30 cm, maybe more. The snowplow's been by twice since yesterday morning, and it's once again ankle deep in the driveway. I brushed off the car though, and after letting it warm up, Kole and I
For well you know that it's a fool, Who plays it cool, By making his world a little colder. Every day is the same, except for a few more centimetres of snow. A winter wonderland always sounds so delightful to those who rarely see snow, and not the daily drudge of the slush, salt, and icy paths that accompany it. There's
I like it, and am certainly getting used to the navigation. After reading about upcoming changes/improvements and more customization features, I don't really have any suggestions either. I like it, I said.
"Keep your feet off my grass, or I'll go zombie on your ass!" i like that one! What's your favorite song? (The best I could come up with spur of the moment)
I hate going to the bathroom in a public restroom. Mostly because I hate hearing strangers who make noises while straining, etc. I don't give a shit about it with family though. Why? 'Cuz they're family!
ha ha.
I am neither, unfortunately. Now that Kole's older, you'd think it would get easier to keep things neat and tidy, but really, our apartment just feels so 'transient'. We drop off stuff, and we are always on the move. It's great that you can turn a space into something homey. My sister has that gift; she's got an apartment virtually identical to mine, and it certainly feels like a good place to come home to. I am guessing it's both a gift and a skill. I'm sure it doesn't go
check in time, not check out time. I can't believe how different I feel with my new exercise program, so now that I've got that covered, I'm seriously considering stepping it up with a better effort toward controlling my bad drinking and eating habits. mygod, it's hard, though. Ain't it? Thanks for showing me it can be done!
Sometimes, I'm such a bloody phony. I'm in week 4 of training, and though I've previously worked there before, I was required to re-train as I had been offsite for more than a year. Fair enough. I'd be concerned if they just threw me back onto the floor without any sort of reintroduction. Alas, I was sent rig
I like the neatness of it, but for some reason, it takes forever for my computer to load a page. I'm still a bit confused at navigation, but I like it more, the longer I play around.
didn't seem goofy at all!
just for shits and giggles and because I like pain ‘n agony and to torture my damn silly self. I feel the same way. 150 stomach crunches/ab work a day, and approx. 45 to 60 min of cardio a day. I think I burn about 500+ cal a day, and though I know why, I question it quite a bit. Good for
I'm on a building committee, a fundraising committee, a volunteer committee, and a general users group committee. All require my attendance to get my job done and to 'stay in the loop', as I've been told, but frankly, I'd much rather just get a copy of the notes and carry on my work from home. See, the difficulties with being involved within so many committee
I walked into the bar with a mp3 player and a deck of rez smokes in my coat pocket, and a JG Ballard sci-fi paperback in my back jeans bocket. I had a handful of toonies that would ensure that the remainder of my evening would be easygoing and fine. I love AC/DC. I had hoped, earlier this afternoon, that Sam would slip in a disc or two tonight. I wasn't let
I read Point of View first, and then this, and can't help but understand how greatly you see things. I love reading your stuff; more than you'll know.
