I just installed it.. worked fine (2nd time). Opened up my last widget, saved the .dexktop then exported it to a gadget (i have pro), and it exported just fine. Open the exe and run it, seems to be working.. but back to one of the issues i have had since 3.x changed the pref's to "always on top" and "run at startup" (via default dialog), this time, it just vanished. Use to leave "pieces" on the screen. Reloaded the EXE and the pref's had been saved, and all the

Brad, Not been on here a lot, work has taken over my free time, and life has not allowed me the time/energy to work on things like i used to. But also, the lack of any kind of fixes on DX has also put a major damper on things. I dont want DX4 as much as i want dx3.x to work. I put in a bug report in may, and have had 2 updates, 1, we got it. 2, someone will look at it. There are so many things that DX does well, but its the bugs the kill ya.

IR, thats the whole issue, this is on a machine we use for our control system, and so i have no idea where to look for the cache, etc. I did email support at SD, but have not heard anything in a over a week.

Gadget OPACITY Issue in DesktopX WinCustomize Forums

I'm sure someone else has to have run into this, and has the answer. I have a gadget that does not have a tray or a taskbar icon and it's Opacity has been set to 0. So its invisible, loads at startup, and cannot be seen or moved or edited in any way. So the q is a simple one.. WHERE is this opacity setting stored and how the heck to i change it back to 100%? Thanks.
