If Stardock won't implement such basic features, I think they should alter marketing of Rebellion. Change "supported game modes: Single-player, Multi-player" to "Multi-player, 2001 style.

It's actually pretty sad that even though Sins get another shot at gathering substantial MP playerbase, devs do so little to make ICO more user friendly.

Maybe i should find some  evils Siddys posts with special picture only he could post?

This sort of thing (from the OP) is on my wishlist and may be looked at post-release for DLC or an update. It'll honestly depend on time, difficulty, and how large the multiplayer community ends up being.

Im old and have bad memory altho  old promices rings in my head. Promices of MULTIPLAYER COMUNITY and  GAMEPLAY FOCUS IN REBELLION.

I hope im wrong but it seems u took too much frome a polititians who promoce a world and then never keep their promices.

That way is a dead end.

We , players who play sins longest , basicly almost from the beginning , give you ideas and solutions to implement and ask you for a good of this game to implement them before finall rebellion releace.

Or else diablo and guild wars will consume u.

I have to wholeheartly agree with everything Mecha has stated.

It seems that Stardock really isn't all that caring about the MP environment or that they are in a state of ignorance. The current system of setting up games on ICO and having them actually play for the first time around is extremely frustrating. I managed to powerdrive through it during the summer of 2011 when I had to play with all the veterans because there was nobody around.

But it was actually pretty exciting since it was much more fast paced then the stardard single player and AI. Yeah I got absolutely destroyed in the first run. Heck I was using a Kol as my first capital ship. I throughly enjoyed it and never went back.

But when if ever do they get all touchy feely? haha they are a vacuum of open discussion on the forums.

Hi i'm Pbhead!  If there is any fault to be found in Stardock, I look the other way.  Bad players online?  Not Stardock's fault!  They will never get better?  Not Stardock's fault!  I'm just going to come on forums and be a sarcastic and insincere piece of garbage instead of admitting there is an actual problem on sins online that needs to be addressed if these "bronze league players" are ever going to have a chance to move up in the world.

By this i believe yarlen is referring to steams in game friend support, through it as well steam has a fully supportive community system in which one can create groups which can be used as a page to base a clan off. so simply put wat yarlen is saying s that pending rebellions full release it is a high possibility Steam will become the media source for ICO for communicating between friends, clans etc.

Now if your looking at using guild launch as a way to hose sins clans. guilds are very similar to clans. where guilds are based on games such as WoW, RIFT,  GUILDWARS etc and clans are based around games such as MW3 Sins etc. guilds and clans are a gathering point for players with similar ideas to communicate, played together and plan events.

I have experience using the website and it is very good at allowing groups of people to run clans/guilds. so if u wanted to do it that way it would be worth looking into. Personally id say wait for rebellion to be released as it will no doubt have a built in steam overlay like all games hosted by steam.

No you are using it correctly just that Steam's community services isn't fully intergrated with ICO atm.
