Last person to post wins, unless they are a moderator or admin.

Basically, this game is played so that the last person who post wins. What do they win? The ThreadKiller's Achievement; The honor of being the last person to post by virtue of the content of their post. However, moderators, admins, and anyone else who has the ability to lock the thread are disqualified from winning the ThreadKiller's Achievement, if they win by locking. If the thread is won by method of locking, the "winner" gains the Achievement Of Reprehensible Epic Lameness.

Another game with a great idea and potential and then fucked up before release.

Yeah.  The whole removal of the ocean stage of life particularly sucked since that was the whole reason I wanted the game in the first place.  BTW, Ryat, I've actually almost completely "Removed" the Grox from the galaxy.  Stupid stars that are too far to jump to...  Makes me want to download a trainer so I can get to them and end their presence...  Damned little terrorists.

Nah, I said screw the game. Aside from the fact they decided to skip a bunch of really great level ideas and took so many years to supposedly come out with a game that took little coding and thus was cheaper to make than other games (which ended up taking more coding and cost more than other games), they then fucked up the simplest concepts in the world, such as a species being able to field more than one stupid ship at a time in a universe where everything has to be micromanaged and happens to explode all at once, that even with a patch is still a logistical nightmare.

FUCK

THAT

!

I don't spend a whole lot of time playing it at any given time.  Maybe an hour or two every month or so just to take a break from anything strategically relevant.  As soon as I have to start babysitting other species, I ignore them and go after the grox until I get bored with the bloodless bloodshed.  Then I play a little GTA4 and go on a murderous rampage around the city before finally switching back to lore writing.  ;P

I just played around with the creature editor. Okay so I tried the campaign once and quit.

meh got it cracked anyway

lol

borrowed my brother's copy. I was initially excited, but had no faith after the long wait. Creature editor is fun too, but I can draw, so it didn't hold my attention.

lol true, imagination is always better

Really?  Is imagining you're having sex with a model better then actually having sex with a model?

Yeah that's what I thought.  Imagination is sometimes better.  ;P

Considering that the real model has a mind of her own and may not want to do the things you want? Yes

Imagination is always better.

Anyways, working on a mini-mod for DS dealing with Flagships. You get one at the beginning and if you lose it. Oh well. Though I might change that point.

Having a mind of her own isn't part of the equation here, so let's remove the model part as well, is imagining having sex better then actually having it?  Is imagining having a beer better then actually having one?  Is imagining football on tv next season better then actually having it on tv?  (Stupid pending lockout doom.  ='(  )

Imagination is sometimes better.

Flagships, hmmm.  Your highest level cap ship already get's that label.  Two or more of the same level and that label goes away for some reason..........  I've never liked that.  The first one to reach that higher level should retain the tag.

Edit:

1) Go to Google translate

2) translate "will Justin Bieber ever hit puberty" from English to Vietnamese

3) copy the translation and translate it back into English

4) laugh

I may try that. As for the flagship "label" I never liked that so I am creating my own. And giving them some teeth.

SuperZERO0 has given me some nice ships to play with.

I like the flagship idea. Just make sure it's nicely rounded to kick ass.

And finny Beiber thing.

Yeah the stats will be a double up of what the race respective battleship caps do in DS but their abilities will be more fleet enhancing ideas. One ability each will be offensive (Flagship Kol will get a rocket barrage for example) but the rest will be fleet based. Especially the Ultimate Ability.

Do we still get the free bird at the beginning?
End of Draakjacht's quote

I am assume you mean the free cap. Its a yes/no thing. The flagship cap doesn't effect the cost effect so yes on that end but it does take up one capital ship point and so you have to research for a second capital ship point. Still on the fence about the supply cost.

Still, nothing to say and plenty of time to say it all.
