And without further delay.... I have the maps for everyone. At the very end of this post there is a download link to a .rar file that has all 4 maps in it so you can look at them in their full sized glory.
This first map is just a blank one showing all of the stars as if you looked up in the night sky.
This second map shows the constellations. Some people like seeing them, others don't, so I made a separate map with them so that those who like them have them and those that don't like them don't ever have to look at them.
This third map is really the most important one. It has all of the stars labeled. A few things to note: Major systems are wrote in all capital letters, minor systems are not. The names themselves are colored according to the main star just to eliminate any doubt over the star color. Red = red star, Yellow = yellow star, Blue = blue star, Green = green star, White = pulsar star, Purple = magnetar star, and finally, the black hole and worm hole systems are listed in Orange to make them look different.
Finally, because it was requested so that we could all get up to speed on who is where, the political factions map. Few things to note: A couple players either don't own any systems or own a planet in multiple systems that are owned by other factions. They were not included (Except for Draak in Portage since he actually took over a planet by force without help. I felt that was worthy of making note so he shares a system with J'rah.) Also you'll see that there are a lot of TEC factions shown on the map and relatively few Advent and Vasari. This does not mean they don't exist, it just means that no one has ever mentioned them before and therefor I have no info on them. Lastly, there is a dashed white line snaking it's way around the map. This is what I like to call an influence reference line. On the TEC side of it, you will find mostly TEC factions, on the Advent side of it, you will find mostly Advent factions, and on the Vasari side of it, you will find mostly Vasari factions. This does not mean there isn't any mixing though. You may run across a TEC held planet in a Vasari system deep inside Advent territory... It's possible and if someone want's to RP something like that, more power to you. Also in the center-ish region there is a influence pocket. This region is where all three groups have equal influence and you will find them mixed in. I included this to help Oranos and myself to do our lore easier.
Finally, here's the download link so you can have the large maps to bring up in whatever program you like to use and do whatever with... Like for example, create another constellation map and RP it as your people have ancient archives that show different images that they used to call the stars, or like in the case of UE, taking their portion of the map and holding it in their own archives and showing their trade network, fleet rotations, where individual fleets are parked for the moment...
Edit: by full sized I mean their size is 1680 x 1050 rather then the 800 x 500 photobucket reduces them to.
New political map as of page 37.
