So far, I've played two games of Rebellion and I've noticed a few things. I'm not sure what's reported and what's not, so here goes.
1 [Bug]. Telekinetic Push isn't working.
2 [Comment/Smart AI]. I got corvette rushed by a defensive AI. I guess this isn't a real problem, but I certainly wasn't expecting it when I set the AI to defensive with the intent of just goofing around with the new units.
3 [Comment/Dumb AI]. The titan's offset is annoying. I'm not just talking how it looks weird that the titan is on one side of your fleet and your other ships are on the other side. This fleet setup was actually handicapping me. After hitting about 1200 fleet capacity, the fleet became so large that when I gave a focus fire attack order, normal ships refused to fire because they were out of range and insisted instead on rearranging themselves into formation, meaning that about half my total fleet DPS decided not to do anything, making battles last far longer than necessary.
I'm assuming this was due to some weird fleeting priority code, but ships should only worry about how nice their formation looks when given a command to go to an empty location in space or when told to jump simultaneously.
4 [Suggestion]. If you have a factory that produces ships that go to one fleet, if that fleet is merged with another, the factory's target location should be the new fleet. This isn't new (so far as I know), but it is something I noticed and would be nice.
5 [Critical Bug]. I teleported backwards in time in an SP game. It was only about a second, but the point was, it happened. I was moving my Eradica and it's surrounding fleet through the gravity well of a gas giant to engage some enemy ships when all of a sudden, I got teleported back to where I started. Obviously since I wasn't expecting that, I didn't think to record the game and don't recall where in the game (time-wise) it actually happened. Heck, it might not even show up on the record even if it existed. I'm assuming everything else went back in time as well, but I only observed my fleet teleport backwards to where they were a second ago. Btw, this was about 15 seconds or so after the fleet entered the well.
EDIT 1 [Comment]: Maybe it's just me, but the Vorastra feels really weak in combat. I do like how incredibly high Loyalists can increase their wave cannons though. What astounds me the most though is that it lacks phase missiles. Also, it appears that having a Vasari titan breaks the AI it belongs to. I'm assuming this is because they haven't been officially released yet, so we'll see what happens later. I think this is known.
EDIT 2 [Graphic Bug]: explosions from Pulse Beams only occur on the first few shots, but not the later ones in a given volley
EDIT 3 [Crash]: Phase Stabilizers placed on a star will result in a crash. I think this is known.
EDIT 4 [String/Graphic Bug]: When upgrading the second ability of the Vorastra, the upgrade menu's name for and picture of the ability is different from what it is normally.
EDIT 5 [Resolved]: the researchable that allows the Vorastra to serve as a fleet beacon doesn't work. I believe this is known.
EDIT 6 [Graphical Comment/Bug?]: When using a ship with wave cannons, it's as if it's firing a volley of "super waves" at longer intervals while firing "normal waves" at shorter intervals. The "super waves" also stop midway through the volley. Is this intentional?
EDIT 7 [Comment]: Thank you for buffing Pinpoint Bombardment.
That's all for now.
