Cool, thanks for the quick reply.

Hey Yarlen, I'm finding things both in steams achievement list and other sources online for new achievements and planet types that aren't in game. Such as Oceanic and Ferrus planets. I've also found a reference to industrialization such as the Drill Baby Drill achievement for fully industrializing a Ferrus planet. And there's another achievement for holding 10 different planet types at the same time, but the game currently only has 7 planet types.&nbs
I'm fine with most of it. It looks like a really good balance patch... There's only one change I really don't like. "Increased Vasari Starbase weapon upgrade time from 25 to 45 seconds." Really not liking that one. But the rest of them make sense to me. And the requirement for phase nodes for starbase jumps should make a lot of complainers happy finally.
You guys got shafted for this round compared to other pairings. You won't win against Max Payne 3, but good luck, though.
Yeah it's a real shame, because Max Payne 3 is a crap game. It's not even a proper Max Payne game. It's terrible when compared to the previous Max Payne games. And I was a huge fan of the previous Max Payne's. Sins is a much better game in pretty much every respect.
Not a problem at all. Keep an eye out on steam. You might get a good deal. I don't like gamestop either, so I completely understand that you don't want it anywhere on your computer. Or you could do what I did at one point until I got my steam copy. Install gamestop, download, install and update sins and the expansions. Then uninstall gamestop. Remember, Sins (even if bought on impulse) only requires impulse to activate and download updates.&nb
Quoting bignick277, reply 7 My issue is that I do NOT have a Trinity key. I have keys for Sins, Entrenchment, and Diplomacy. Steam only sells and acknowledges Trinity, and only Gamestop will allow me to get the original game and expansions. Still, I got rebellion and I dont need the original or trinity really.
Fair enough.. Just bear in mind that if you already have keys for sins, entrenchment and trinity, then you don
I LOVE YOU STARDOCK. I finally get the money to get Rebellion and I was almost sick at the idea of having to pay Gamestop a single penny since I bought the original game and expansions pre-Trinity off impulse, and was actually worried I wouldn't be able to play Rebellion if I just bought it from your store. This post means I can finally uninstall that abomination from my computer and never look back. While it may be unfortunate that I cant br
K, I've completed a game on hard where I got constantly pelted with pirates the whole match. Not complaining as I actually like that because I play was playing as Vasari. I see it as my free paycheck every time they attack me. I often use the pirates to supplement my economy during games. Well during this game, I killed over 2000 pirates. I then noticed I didn't get the "Pirate Exterminator" achievement. Thinking I had done something wrong I loaded
LOL THANK YOU. I thought I was the only one that noticed that. It definitely seems like a direct response from Ironclad to that game trailer. I thought it was kind of funny enough when I saw that games trailer making an obvious dig at Sins. But now that Ironclad has responded it makes it funny as hell. I think I smell a rivalry brewing.

Yes, I get asked this question a lot. No, that is not the connotation of the nickname. And no, I won't tell you how big. Unlike many guys, I don't feel the need to constantly talk about my size. Oh don't give me that crap. It's a base ability of the vasari. Plus the tech description never said anything about it being specifically TEC nor Advent as slaves. Just enslaved labor. That can be interpreted as their own civilians, conquered enemy systems, conquered neutral systems, unemployed enforced labor for the good of the civilization or whatever. Stop reading too much into things. This is a base ability and should not be changed. I swea
What the hell!! I'm playing Vasari Rebels, go to research Enslaved Labor and it's not there any more! The Vasari structures are already more expensive than any other race and now there's no way to ease the strain. This is a base ability of the Vasari. If I remember correctly splitting off the factions was supposed to be that you get all the base abilities of every race that have been the mainstay of the franchise. But get more added on to it. Not lose
I think its a bad idea, because most of the people that will buy Rebellion are previous Sins' players and will probably have it installed, and it might cause balancing issues with other ships, and people that JUST got into the series and dont own Trinity/previous version. Not only that, I dont know how Trinity works, but I think it should be for people that own Trinity and/or Diplomacy. <b
Please use paragraphs?
Is that a question or a request. Seriously, if you're going to take the time to correct the structuring of my posts, then at least make sure you use the correct punctuation in your own sentences. Otherwise it's just insulting.
Bear in mind, that the tactics I just laid out are the very basic form of that strategy. It can easily be refined and toughened by a considerable degree. Such as Starbase placement. Maker sure it's close to other structure to force enemy units in range of starbase to do any damage of any kind. Placing about 5 turrets around starbase at a certain distance to give incoming ogrovs another target while bombers weaken and destroy ogrovs before risking getting clo
Getting sick of playing against TEC. Spamming novalith cannon so I have to build starbases in every system, then coming in with a few cheap ogrov cruisers to destroy a fully upgraded starbase in 30 seconds. I can't even get a fleet from a neighboring system to make one jump before the starbase is trash. Seems all the fun and strategy from entrenchment is gone now. It should be about fleets with complements of different supporting ships
I don't think the TEC are overpowered. They are tough! But overpowered?... No. The same with the Vasari... Powerful and present excellent challenge, but OP? Again, no! In fact the Vasari and the TEC are pretty well balanced between each other right now. The Advent on the other hand, I think need some buffs because they are severely lacking right now. I've played multiple games on hard and unfair and in every single match, all of the Advent factions
Getting desyncs every game here too. This has only started since Beta 3 started for me. Tried uninstalling reinstalling, no go. Always desyncs within first 15 minutes of game every time. My friends and I can no longer play online due to the desyncs. Once desynced it will keep playing on different paths between our systems until the game on my system eventually crashes. I did notice however the other day while playing with friends was that even though I desy
Honestly, no. It would completely screw up balance even worse than it already is.
How would it screw up gameplay balance. This idea is an endgame mechanic. It "only" comes to life "after" you win the match. You know that screen that pops up and says you win with the option to either "keep playing" or "quit". That's what the idea was for. An endgame mechanic. Not as a playable race.&
I understand that. The point of this is not to push for them to implement this, because I know the chances are slim to none. Believe me, I have no delusions. The point of this is to find out what you guys think of the idea. It's a hypothetical discussion as happens often in these forums. What do you guys think? Is this something you would like to see in Rebellion?
Oh yeah... I understand it's too late for it to be ready for release. It could however be done as a patch later on or as a DLC bonus. Patch would be better since it's only an endgame challenge. Or maybe even if or when they announce Sins 2 they add this idea to rebellion as a teaser and create some hype for Sins 2. I've always wanted to see a strategy game of this type do this kind of thing at endgames. Because once you win a match and it lets you keep play
There's one thing I really would have thought would be awesome for this game (Since it is kind of a prelude to Sins 2). I would have loved it if Ironclad had put the dreaded 4th race in this game. Not as a playable race, but instead as a final NPC. You play your game to victory condition. Most probably via military or allied conditions. Once you win the game, you get the usual quit or keep playing option. Should you choose to keep playing, then the drea
