I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. Normally I would agree if it wasn't for one of the titans high level abilities that requires it's own sacrifice/destruction. Since that's the case with that advent rebel titan, it would be unfair for it to have to lose a level everytime things get harry but still manageable, use that ability and then find out that you have to level up all over again. You would likely never see a level 10 of that titan. And you sure as

Remember your starbases. The Vasari's ability to quickly and cheaply field starbases (when compared to other races) in early game are their saving grace. Just make sure to use enforced loyalty on the starbases to prevent enemy from bombing planets without destroying the starbase. Early game 2 levels of weapons upgrages and 1 upgrade of defense should be "way" more than sufficient defend the system until you can get you economy under control. You could use less upgr
Rebellion has been in the top 100 played games on steam for the last several weeks. It's near the bottom, but it's there. Currently ranked at 87 with 610 players currently playing with a daily high of 947 simultaneous players. I saw it at over 1000 simultaneous players a couple weeks ago. Not too shabby for a game still in beta.

The first time they had an argument and a human said "I'd eat you for breakfast" would be taken as a promise rather than an idle threat.
Notabug. The Kultorask is stupidly powerful against fleets of frigates. Frankly, it doesn't see your frigates as enemies but rather as murder fuel. It's supposed to lose out when 1v1. It's a support titan and in fleets involving frigates is so stupendously powerful that enemies will never kill it. Every ship used against it just feeds it AM and health. Frigates get disabled, and with Disseve
I've been playing the Vasari Rebels and have been putting the rebel titan through it's paces to see what it's capabilities are. Well I've gotten up to level 8 now, but there's a problem. It seems as though none of it's abilities affect enemy titans and starbases. I noticed this when I took my titan at level 6 against a level 1 Advent Eradica. I could not kill it with just my Titan. Granted it couldn't kill me either, but it is really o
What difficulty were you playing at? Tip, don't put your fleet capacity to full right away. The reason is because regardless of how many ships you are actually using at any given time you still lose 75% of all income rates (all incomes are affected. Gold, metal and crystal) regardless of total number of ships you are actually fielding at any given time. In other words, if you max out your fleet supply, but are only using a quarter to half of your fleet supply, yo
My patience is really starting to wear thin. I've played TEC and Advent to death. Bring on the Vasari already. At this rate they're not going to be properly tested by release.
I can confirm this and it is not exclusive to titans. I've been reporting this bug since beta 1 initial release. It can and will happen with any ship. I just lost 2 cap ships to this bug. Playing as advent. It was only these ships 2nd battle and poof, gone. Just disappeared. You can see their showing as in system when zoomed out via indicator bars. You can see which ships they are in the left hand system tree. But you can't see the

Customers lie, they say they want something, use it, then get disappointed and blame the product / company. The philosophy that the customer is always right is broken and leads to mediocrity. I just tried to fire up a game in Diplomacy and found all of my saves from rebellion in it. Of course you can't load them because you'll just get a crash, but I tend to use similar game save names across both Rebellion and Diplomacy, so now I'm having great difficulty discerning between which saves are from Rebellion and which saves are from Diplomacy. I just checked the file save location on the hard drive and both Rebellion and Diplomacy are definitely using the same
Just checked the options. There's nothing in there that affects this issue. And how can it be since diplomacy. I've just posted a pic from my own diplomacy clearly proving that it's not always been the case. I don't have to put the mouse over the star to see it. It's there. I can see everything. The only thing I can't see are systems I haven't found yet, which isn't a problem. I just want to see things the way I a
And here's a screenshot from one of my games in deplomacy: So no, it hasn't always been that way. Unless you think I have 3 mice to accomplish this feat. BTW in this pic, I'm blue.
I had mentioned this in my original notes regarding the system dots disappearing when fully zoomed out to galaxy view. I decided to play again today and have found that in the new update this problem is now even worse. now they don't show up at any view range. Now they're completely invisible. The only time they show up is if hover my mouse pointer of the star in the center of the galaxy they will appear. But as soon as I move my mouse off the star, they

However, an easy way to circumvent this is to make a pinned thread with the current bug list. Well, it is your right... and in your own case, we can say that you have made your job as beta tester ( https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/419104 )... pretty sure that thousand of people have the beta and if all of them was reporting like you do, almost all the bugs or balanc
For crying out loud!! The other 2 factions are NOWHERE from being finished. Advent is not finished yet, and crashes the game a lot. The Vasari, espically the loyalists, are NOWHERE from done. The corvette's aren't right, the icons are broken, the Titan doesn't even have the correct bombing weapons! So DON'T ask to play the other factions!! TEC is the most finished compared to the other two. DON'T ASK! [/quo
That ship in the top left at that angle reminds of one of the reaper ships from Mass Effect. Almost.
To be honest, this doesn't bother me in the slightest. I know I like the game. I want it and I would have gotten it after release regardless. At least this way I don't have to worry about the release date now and go "oh crap!" because I forgot the release date and didn't make sure there was enough money in the account to cover the cost when the charge hit. At least this way I know it's paid for when it fully releases. Plus I like the early look at
Thanks for the quick the reply Yarlen... I've updated my original post to reflect the additional issues I found further down the page. Hopefully it should make it easier (or at least more organized) than the previous way I was submitting new information.
To everyone who's responded, I haven't ignored you and I really appreciate the responses. I've just been racking my brain trying to give as much feedback as possible to help make this game great. If others would like to use this thread for their own feedback and input, feel free. The more popular this thread is, the more likely the Dev's will continue to look at this thread for feedback from the community. That's a good thing in anyone's book.</
Ok, I've now completed the full match, but I'm still not happy with the late game lag. It's like a constant stutter in the game. Zooming in and out. Rotating the camera. Watching anything move. It's like this constant stutter. It's not long hangs unless in really big battles. I should also note that this stutter is non-existent in early game. But in late game, it's very apparent and extremely annoying. I know it'
Forgot to mention it earlier... AI players often seem very fickle as to whether or not they want to commit to a battle. I've often found them jumping the cap ships constantly in and out of system from my fleet. They warp in, get shot at, jump out. And they keep repeating this constantly until their caps get popped by my ships. Seems like a crap ineffective tactic by the AI. I should note that all these details are for the same match against n
A couple new notes (Late Game): 1: After conquering quite a bit of territory, I've noticed that on a couple of my planets, they are showing units that supposedly exist as according to when you zoom out of the planet with the left and right panels showing friendly and enemy units and when in system on the left hand unit break down list. But when you zoom into system, these supposed units are nowhere to be found. I have one system showing enemy units that show enem
Have you tried alt+enter . That's the usual hotkey for shifting between full screen and windowed mode. EDIT: Nope... Just tried it myself... Alt+Enter does not work in Sins for switching modes.
