Does culture not mitigate some of the effect of being far out? So rather the moving the homeworld around, perhaps build up a couple culture broadcast centers and solifify your hold on your own worlds.

I wish I worked at a company where I could write code comments like that. However, so what happens now? Does culture simply not impact team planets and flow past to take over non-team planets?

You could extend that idea slighly to reinforce the CTRL- Blackmarket meme by making the required clicks CTRL-LMB / CTRL-RMB. That'd save on accidental clicks to that area of the screen.

Ok, here is a couple questions Can I turn off the HUD for screenshots? Can I set an option to leave the HUD on but for it to not render to the screenshot? I see in the bottom left screenshot that there are a lot of overlaid icons. Can I change the level of zoom where icons start appearing? Are icons occuled by ships and structures? How far will the empire tree extend into the main game area? How is the empire tree sorted? Can I reorder and/or regroup items
