I am perfectly happy with my SINGLE PLAYER experience. I will continue to buy and support Stardock / Ironlad products. I understand that software development is a difficult and laborious task, and support the development team in their efforts to fix bugs OF THEIR CHOICE and at THEIR OWN SCHEDULE. I am confident that they are aware of the desires of the community and that they will allocate their time appropriatly.

Love these posts. Minor nitpick... screen #19 has a Kodak cruiser highlighted, rather then the robotics cruiser. [e digicons]^_^[/e]

I have observed this in single player 1.1 / 1.11 To reproduce: Select some ships and create a fleet. Set the rally point of a planet to be that fleet. Build some ships and allow them to automatically move and join the existing fleet. Mouseover the fleet icon and notice that the tooltip displayed matches the fleet composition. If you expand the fleet, you will see the full fleet. When the fleet is collapsed in the empire tree, mouseover the dots
The process of detecting a divergence and tracing its causes is also a very interesting topic so maybe I'll do a write up on that if there is some interest.
I'd be interested in hearing about this. I love to hear about the deep structure stuff. I also hate bugs like this one where they are brutally hard to discover and nearly impossibl

I've used DLing as a demo system when demos are not available for games. In the past, I've also installed pirated games for the express purpose of LAN parties where the group will be playing a game that I would normally never buy/play. I'm not trying to justify it, just saying that's what I've done. On the flip side, I've purchased many more games then I've ever downloaded. At the time of this writing, I can't think of anything that I actually have installed that I
1. Alt-tab support.
EVERYTHING THIS. Guild Wars does this very well. Not only can I window/full screen the game on the fly, but once windowed I can resize the window on the fly simply by dragging it around.
if they were so important, you could always modify the achievements file to say you got them all.
I know. I'll probably wind up doing that for the 80%+ that I had.
The expansions are being developed to prevent fracturing of the multiplayer community. If both players have a given expansion pack installed, the features are available, but if one does not, the expansion pack features are disabled for that particular game.
That is very very cool.

Game development is a dream I killed many a year ago. For now, I'll stick to playing the games y'all come out with. :)
Fixed sync error in multiplayer games caused by cannon autocast targetting.
I assume this is the dreaded sync error that was running rampent. The curious developer in me asks if we get a rundown on what exactly this means? What exactly was happening and why did that break multiplayer games?
Malice nerfed? Noooooooo...
It's not nerfed, it's been right sized.
