A quick ctrl+a maneuver prevented any permanent damage, thankfully.

AAAARGH! MY EYES!
I just read everything Annatar found. Then I read it again. It was like a double take. Then I think I had a gamegasm.
Oh, I see these guys every now and then. They believe every thread "pollutes" the internet or takes up valuable internet space, so they make just one thread and reuse it. They don't reuse by adding new questions in new posts, though, they just change the OP while everyone is left with a dumb face, wondering how in the world did fifteen people agree that reformatting is the best thing to do when the enemy Advent makes carriers.
WTF!? Who changed the OP?
Accusation of poster known as jjz- of being a grammar nazi. Link to the uncyclopedia Grammar Nazi page. Smiley face. Questioning of jjz-'s relationship with his father. Mildly inflamatory fare-well.
Outrage at the ad hominem attack. Ad hominem attack. Call for a moderator to lock the thread and ban a select number of other posters.
Logical bisection of the original post, followed by a point-by-point rebuttal with a mild hint of sarcasm to outline the irregularities. Quote from the original post followed by a quote from dictionary.com on strawman arguments. Questioning of the original poster's upbringing and sexual preference. Expression of ridicule at the idea of 1v1 scout vs cap combat.
So if the initial Buyer sold the license he looses every right to use support. And the new owner can use the support. Stardock was already payed for this support.
But in this particular case, the Initial Buyer did not sell his license. He sold his box with the game disc. He obviously kept the license.
However, they are working on some type of e-mail registration and executable patching thingy that will allow people without Impulse/internet to patch the game. In a neat way, I mean, as they can already do it now by installing the game on a computer that has Impulse/internet, patching it, then carrying the game files over to the target machine by a flash stick or a DVD or whatever.
He's probably thinking of the whole late-game all-AI team player gang-bang that seems to happen very often.
Bla bla bla Stores prune DRM infested games
No, they don't. The ones you listed as examples just have the good idea to prune second hand games. Most quality stores don't even HAVE second hand game bins. BTW, did you know that software in general has no(zero, nada, none) support or warranty for anyone other than the first hand buyer? Read your EULAs people...
A game store "weeds out" DRM-crippled games!?
How in the world does Impulse hamper modders?
I am paying money and thus not free-loading. Where the money ends up is of no consequence.
Actually it is. A transaction is legal only if it is between a customer and a licensed reseller. And unless your friend went and bought a license from Stardock/Calypso, I don't think he's legally able to sell you his game. Stardock/Ironclad offers customer support. It means it doesn't have to offer support to you.
I had to use it for X3TC and the Orange Box which I got as an actual box... Not likely to use it again, I don't like my games suddenly getting a price "upgrade".
This comes as a surprise to you people!?
I just had a gamegasm.
Craig, you're evil. Hell, if I was in a room, a meter away from a guy playing Entrenchment and he was teasing me with it with "Hey, look how cool it is if I do this!" and "Check out this ability, dude!", I'd react. I'd grab the subwoofer box and bash that guy's head in. I'd get me some game!
"You guys wanna get high?"
BTW if any game gets released as a half-product and ends up getting 90s all across the review sites and mags, then it's definitely doing something really really right.
1. Modding hardocdes. We want them gone. Now. You guys, say "It would require a total engine re-write." I say, "So? DO IT ALREADY!"
I lol'd at this part. Hard. Seriously, as much as I *love* modding potential, this is really taking it a bit far.
Aww, man... this is the THIRD forum that I frequent that this spambot hit... Lucky me!
"They see me readin' they hatin'" and "Bitches don't know 'bout my gaming"
Me kinda likes, but I was hoping for a more intricate "tech tree", instead of just linear progressions. Kinda like what we have in GalCiv2 and Sins..
