I have read the Starship Trooper's novel, the movies adapt was meh. THERE is raiding (destruction of trade ship benefit the guy destroying it) not currently in the beta yet, and there is marauding pirate elemental that we current have no idea about so they may involve bit of pillage or whatever. As for ground combat, of course, you can take over a planet WITH population on it from the previous empire(conquest).
This isn't the full faction of TEC not to mention the other 2 faction that isn't in the beta yet. They may already have cloak for all we know. As for hiding in same gravity well I think there may be no cloak. But for jumping to other gravity well you MAY maybe hide your fleet to make a surprise attack. Ok, hopefully you guy can figure out how the other 3 issues can be resolved through my picture.(They require simple fixes like keep other empire building out of your stack icon, and better update for the list of planets to prevent icon from disappear; The game was very long and it also make enemy and neutral and my colony disappear as well) That all I suggest to fix those issues for now.

Stack icon option put my building WITH enemy building in the same stack? I sure don't own it! Sometime icon of system that I have no info or los(line of sight) on would disappear just look under the last planet. I understand where you are coming from slim in relative with the ctrl-group however they alway target the ship's target so you don't have to control them directly unless you want them to kill those pesky frigates?

Magician that sound suspensively close to MOO 3 with few graphic improve and of course few thing different, except for the tech tree which isn't even the same.
It isn't more micro trust me all you have to do is select the new group then shift+"your group number you want them to be add to" and your cake is done.

I have build about 300 broadcast center spread out around a star system (small map), and yet the enemy seem immune to my culture. o.O Another thing I notice that on bigger map (at least more than 1 galaxy map) that once you have culture flowing from 4 star system into the local sun it would eventually spread via lane to other sun which would take forever duh.
fyi you can use shift+ a number to add the ships to the battlegroup w/o select THE whole group.
Alcari as far I can tell and see all ship do it as long they can be give order except trader and refinery ship since they are automatic.

I also notice that another side effect of this bug is that it cause the ship to be "outside"(outside being won't show up on the icon when zoom out to galaxy level) of the system so it won't jump to another planet or whatever until I give an order to move to a target (tested another ship, haven't through test others target). Lastly this can be annoying because it would cause more than several ship to be stu
