This new class of ship, is it the last class or will their be other classes released.

In the third screenshot Craig, their appears to be a new TEC ship. Beta 2? or Later? Have any of the existing ships received a new makeover like the Carrier and Battleship?

Will the unidentified ship in the third screenshot be in Beta 2? Or is that another race? Or am I just missing something.

Aren't the scout icons in the back before the capital ships? And it looks like you can see one or two of the ships in the front. They don't look like anything we have seen so far.

In the screenshot where the TEC and Advent fleet square off in front of the terran planet. The TEC ships foremost in their fleet formation, never seen their Icon. Are they a new frigate if so will they be in the beta 2?

Will their be new TEC ships? Or skins?

What is in the Beta 2?

Thats cool, just was a little worried for a second. Just don't want the game to go the way of Space Empires 5...

Right now, I can safely say a mid-level system can't handle a game (of the size I have going now) at 1600 x 1200 full settings (2xAA), normal AI with 5 factions playing. Whenever the developer allows either more people to join or dumps a significant amount of data onto the client. Shit hits the fan! It appears from what Yarlen has said in the Beta Update page, that until Beta 2 their won't be patching or updating of the SOASE Beta. I find Supreme Commander dull, plus if you don't know what your doing by the time you have a good base of ops set up in multiplayer. Your enemies already have a few 1000 units. When one goes to save a game, you have to retype your previous saved game name to overwrite. The simple method to fix this is allow one to see previous saved games in the save game window and allow double clicking for overwriting previously saved games.
