Could the problem be the fact that my folder structure is swedish and not english? Then why can more than half of the people trying the mod, play it without a minidump? It includes hugely popular mods like the latest 7 sins mod, etc. I see maby 1 person having the same problem in 30 pages :P

Yeah, will it EVER be fixed? ....... When i ran in Vista, i never had that problem, now in XP SP2 i do however. Same version drivers (same version audio drivers too), tried with older and newer, no change. Core 2 Duo E6600, 4gb ddr2 ram, 8800GTS (old chip version with 512mb ram, recently got the new one with just 320mb ram, no change in sins) I know i can just copy the mod into the main game folder, but it seems some small things dont work prope

Have fun not playing the game, or any game for that matter other than shit-tacular indie games with the budget of a garage band. I know what you mean, and i agree. But Impulse isnt copy protection. You dont have to run or even have impulse installed to play the game. So whats the big deal? You wont change the world by not buying this game, since the real problems lay in Securom/Starforce/Safedisk, neither of which any Stardock games use. Its like protesting against the high oil

I see.. I was hoping it would make a more noticeable difference. Like in a factor of 1000, rather than 250. Is that setting moddable by the way? Without editing every single ship that is? Is it like a global % increase, if so, where?! :D

Well, i just ask because it doesnt matter if i put the shipcap setting at medium or high, the max cap is still 2000, and the ships still cost the same :O Whats with it?

I know this sounds wierd, but maby borrow some defence-ideas from Supreme Commander? This game is basically supcom in space, with the many units of the same type and such (heck even supcom has more varied units, but sure). As in, keeping the defences as they are now in sins is probably ok, but adding medium and heavy versions too, each doubling the previous version's damage/range/hitpoints. Either you spend your resources on ships, or on defences. I like defences in rts games :)

Danman, i wish i had the patience to help out :( I just, i dunno. If i could use normal square textures i would, but im too lazy to sit and fiddle with small squares and trying to make them fit without seams etc ^_^ I'd have to keep all the edges as they are on an original map, and that would just limit me to 5 "patches" of new detail on the planet ^_^ Im a total newb when it comes to textures for games and how to make them fit properly, even a simple backdrop is impossible for me :P
