I too am having this issue. I used to NEVER have problems with Sins but since this new load process (that I didn't ask for or want) it now is very buggy.

I see what it was now. There are two, like someone said above. I didn't realize (or see anywhere) that there would be two. Thanks for the help. Installing now.

I purchased the beta and set it up on Steam, but can't get the game. How do I get it set up?
Yes it is. I tried turning the music up and the voices were louder.
I agree. It doesn't make sense to tie the voice over dialog to the music. I want the music very quiet, NOT the voices. Please fix!
Well, it looks like a few of you may have been playing video games as long as I have. Battlefield 1942 Sins of a Solar Empire Star Control II MOO (Master of Orion) Sub Battle Simulator (anyone remember it?) Probably in that order. There are probably a few I'm forgetting.
Back when I was in college in the early 1980's I took a class in basic. When the professor asked me what I wanted to do, I said build a space strategy game where you have galactic fleet space battles on a scale of the entire universe; system battles where you can control space fleets; and lastly ground battles where you first soften up the planets and then take them with ground forces. She looked at me and said, I don't think anyone can do that, at least for another 20 yea
So, any news on an SOSE2?
Maybe I'm out of the loop here or I'm missing the obvious, but where do you see the Vasari being chased by something?
I have to agree with S3hel. I am doing exactly what you describe, but the next time I load steam, it has reset itself to auto update in spite of me setting it to not do so. Any chance of fixing this?
Any chance of fixing the auto update bug? I've started about 4 games trying to see what the Advent Titans are like but I can never get them to level 5 even before the thing auto updates me and my save games no longer work. Selecting don't auto update in steam does NOTHING.
You multiplayer people need to stop trying to ruin the fun for those who play SP only.
And for those of us that play SP and MP COOP. I LOVE the Titans! It used to be with the old Sins, the only part of the game that was interesting was the beginning. Now the whole game is a chess match that I could lose at any time. Thank you Ironclad!
I'm playing the TEC rebels. I can't build anything because I keep getting a bunch of free pirate ships that I don't want . It takes FOREVER to click on each one and say, destroy and it takes too long to send them somewhere to die. Please create a toggle to turn this annoyance off. Thank you.
Yep. Just noticed that myself. Explanation please?
I think you're right. It is undervalued and there do need to be some ways to support this better.
Any chance we can get what most forums have had for years, the ability to be emailed when anyone replies to a thread here? Or is that already possible, but I can't seem to find it in the interface? As it is now, I have to hunt around and guess when there is a reply. I would really like to see Stardock respect my limited amount of free time and add the ability to receive email updates. Thank you.
Patients, soon you will see.
Hospital patients? Hmmm... This is a weird addon/mod/game indeed.
So those of us that pre-ordered back in March of 2011, how will we find out about the beta since Stardock doesn't own Impulse anymore? Also, is the game slated for release in Spring 2012 or the beta or both? Thanks.
Quoting QBallRail, reply 181Okay, but when I log in, I don't see "Stardock Central." Where do I log in to see this? It seems like the precise answer is missed. HERE Don't threat it will open in a new tab then log on Then Click on MY DOWNLOADS no not mine YOURS ha ha then Click on the YELLOW FULL INSTALL <b
Yeah it would be nice to get some sort of update on how things are progressing. Even a simple things have been delayed by a few months or it looks like the beta will be out in the next few months would help.
I pre-ordered Rebellion as soon as possible because I received an email from Stardock that stated if you pre-order you would get access to the beta this fall. Has that changed?
