This seems to like crashing on a friends PC, with no minidump. Seems to happen at random so we have no idea what it is that's causing it :

Is there a way I can go in and easily fix this? It is kinda driving me bonkers. Also, I like your inclusion of stellar conversion, but can you also reform planets after you destroy them like in the Moo series? You could al
[quote who="SemazRalan" reply="4" id="2097221"]Drone, you have no idea how much was cut because of hardcode limits. Many mods focus on changing existing files without adding meshes, sounds, textures, etc... This mod then, with permission, brings those mods together with all within 7DS to create one massively kick-ass universe. Please keep in mind, Even if the existing 7DS team adds nothing new of their own and only adds 2-3 mods, that alone will be impossible to do. Do
Maybe one of the 2 more expansions will add moons and suchlike. Which would be awesome.

To prove what could be accomplished through modding versus standard out of the box. Enjoy the vanilla races now, especially if you want a challenge. They all die in version 2.5 DANMAN <b
Have the planet specific abilities been fixed yet? I miss my 200% ship build speed on industrial worlds :
Distant stars is pretty good, and in addition comes with a lot more planet types as well.
Not really.
Does this really need two threads?
The Fact this isn't for entrenchment is going to push a lot of new people away. That and the horrific system requirements. It seems kinda redundant including all the shiny graphics mods if you have to put the graphics down to basically nothing to run this mod.
So, has the AI been made less hideously retarded or does it still run from every fight if it has less capital ships then you.
Any chance you could add more levels of upgrades to most upgrade branches, so that technology can eventually be better than sheer ship spamage?
Make it like a pirate base except with more TEC looking stuff. That way it would look more like an abandoned military installation rather than just a planet with a base on it.
Seems to make the Vasari's Phase stabilisers kinda useless, and the fact it's instant makes me feel it'd be a bit too exploitable.
Hmmm, this mod keeps crashing in multiplayer for absolutely no reason even though we all have the game updated and are all using the same version of the mod. It's not even anything obvious, like telling ships to warp, or zooming in on the new planet textures. Any ideas?
I think they hoshiko should have it's repair ability tweaked. Instead of shooting little robots at things to heal them, it has a small cloud of the tiny microbots around it. The cloud heals anything in the radius of the hoshiko by an amount proportional to the number of ships in range. Getting healed also slowly decreases the strength of the cloud. Hoshikos would slowly regenerate this cloud of micro-bots over time. So effectively, it could heal multiple ships, wouldn't rely on antimatter as suc
If I remember correctly, they announced a launch date about 4 times so far, and each time they have "something" has happened and they've had to put the date back. I really doubt it'll ever be out tbh. It's like the modern Day DNF...
Ai? there was an AI in this version?
Currently Cruisers are all basically worthless due to the fact only one of them has a decent direct attack ability. um... Rofflecopter Cruisers are quite useful if you take them for what they are: support craft. Hoshikos and Cielos greatly increase the longevity of a fleet, and carriers are powerful in their own right. but you see, no army has ever won a war with support craft alone.
I personally would like Turreted ships with homeworld 2 esqe Individual ship AI, 3D movement within a grav well, another class of ships (destroyer class. not quite Capital but not really Crusier either), a few more usful ships for each class. Currently Cruisers are all basically worthless due to the fact only one of them has a decent direct attack ability.
I personally would prefer stations that could be built *anywhere* in a gravity well that basically acted like a planet without the gravity well and some of the planet upgrade options. The idea being, that they use Logistics points to build, but then some of these could be freed up by purchasing "logistics Effiency", and extra population cap could be purchased with "Habitation modules". All the population would have to come in via trade ships or something to start with, becuase people don't just
hmm, think I've found the problem in my case. Appears to be a problem if you run the game via steam (Using "Add non-steam game" to add sins to the Steam game list). When the game is run, it seems that pressing (in my case) shift-\ to open the steam in game friends messenger seems to set shift to be *always* on for some reason. So therefore, It seems to be steam at fault and not the game. :< Sorry for wasting time.
DroneFragger: that definitely sounds like a bug. Can you figure out a way to make either the super-fast or super-slow things happen so we can figure out what's happening? Are you using a normal mouse or a built-in laptop mouse? It's a Logitech G5 running on my desktop. I think it might be to do with the drivers myself, because some games refuse to accpet that the Logtich G5 has a middle mouse button and counts it as Ctrl, so I set it to P. howe
My zoom seems to be bugged. at the moment, it sometimes zooms quite quickly (like 6 or 7 mousewheel "clicks") to get from spaceship view zoom to star system zoom, and then sometimes it goes realllllllly slow. Like, maybe 200 clicks to do the same distance. I'm just guessing that number, but is literally so slow that you can't play the beta funly with it. I have no idea why this is or how to fix it :
:O Use Punctuation, it took me a couple of read throughs to get what you were saying :O yes, I think more defences are needed in general, not just anti capital ones.
