There are many others but they don't post here as much as we do. If you see a Stardock logo by their name though, they are one of us oooooh is 'US' and 'THEM' now is it? US being stardock, THEM being the punters who bought the game. ::

ok so i'm starting a metaverse game and I set 5 AIs all friendly to start... I've not yet encountered them but I can contact them and trade. bug no? maybe setting friendly means you already have contact. but when you actually do make contact via your scouts, they do the usual greeting. espionage is affected here....seems you can use it till you actually do meet them.

If someone sells their game, including account, Stardock should allow this. if a player feels they need to quit the game, give up their account with stardock, and never play the game again.... as long as the new owner has the game (boxed with cds and manuals etc) and the access to download the updates, why shouldnt stardock support them? if they love the game, they may buy dark avatar. if you buy a used copy of the game, and you can prove you ha

Back to the OP's post. I think 17K for 130 planets and 4 years is in the ballpark. This could have been an opportunity to pump up a big score against inferior competition that posted as a suicidal victory. I applaud Taziker for not taking advantage of it. In my opinion this is a serious bug that has the potential of cheapening the scores we've all worked hard to achieve. <

I had 9 AI on suicide, gigantic map, loose clusters, all abundant, very fast research. I cononized 130 planets before I got bored of the lack of challange. 17000 is extrermly low for a suicide win. perhaps the scoring takes into account what the AI get up to and all.

ok so I started a new map with a fresh character. impy. 17000 score gigantic, suicidle, max everything. it was like cakewalk.... the AI did not expand. so I played with it...on year 4 after colonizing loads, kicked the hell out of the Ai in one move. got 17000. is it a bug? it was bloody boring btw. when I posted it showed suicide level but no AI expanded past their first colony ship. whats going on?<

hi. I've noticed when I have a lot of planets and I set it rally points and tell the manger to send all ships to that one point, some of the further away planets launch the ships i've built there, but they just stay there and wont intercept the rally point. anyone else get this? It happens game after game.

Another dimension of the way stardock has worked the register and update issue is targeting illegal copies of the game, not to stop them, but to gain another audience. The retail version 1.0 is basically a little taster of the game, almost a demo. I obtained an illegal copy and after playing it for weeks, I found the game had depth and was immensely fun to play. Thousands of people use illegal downloads of the game and so the strategy of not putting copy protection in

You never know for sure what's lucky and what's not. Clearly, a precursor mine (700% manu bonus) on your home planet is lucky. However, just because you don't get one doesn't mean you don't have a good starting position. mumblefratz is correct i had a rotten game, saved the beginning and tried a few strats only to find, the planets close by were

Hehe, the low scoring guys can leave if they want my scores aint much worse than yours in 1.31. and i'm fairly new to the game. very new to understanding the dynamics of the game and realising that just to win aint enough - you must win with style to gain points, well im working on it and i'm sure the big scores will follow.<b
