Unreal Tournament 3

Demo is out and about, surprised it hasn't been posted. It runs surprisingly well on older hardware. I was thinking it would be nice to, at least as an option, to set Waypoints to the groups rather then the individual ships within the group or "fleet". Newly constructed ships would then move to the nearest ship in the fleet the WP points to, or it could if possible fly to the "main body". ie. the area that has the highest amount of ships in said fleet.

So it's FUBAR'ed since the update? I didn't have this issue prior to the last two Beta 3 updates. Nope. It's random since we were able to make custom .galaxy files. But it wasn't random prior to the last two beta 3 updates? That or I just got lucky and never experienced it.
The guide has been updated for the latest updates, plus I reworded a couple things. Lemme know if anything needs changing.

hmmm, could the devs make a #ICO or something like that so there isnt a bunch of spam in #sins? other than that, that's what i always try to do There's no reason to spread it out over several places when the sins channel doesn't get that much traffic as it is. That is when you aren't spamming up the channel. Plus it makes it easier to discuss bugs and issues in the game or with ICO.
As I was rewriting my hourglass galaxy as I wasn't satisfied with it, and to bring it up to date to the latest version, I came across something very peculiar. Every time I start a game, the teams are set randomly. I could be teamed with either of the AI's above the Star, or next to me on the same side of the star. Now I've looked over the galaxy file several times and I can't spot the issue. Has anyone come across anything similar?
And to Novaburst, Yes I understand the point of them allowing the Beta only to the people who Pre-Ordered, I just want more info on how the gameplay is. Atleast like a video that describes it because screenshots only show the fighting and the Gameplay link doesn't help me much for what I'm looking for... Sorry about giving you a hard time by the way, many years of internetting (new word) has left me jaded. Es
Anyway, here's three of the most recent Previews/Hands on articles available. Gamespy IGN Gamespot And besides that, the Multianna has several short in-game captured clips from the various beta stages. <a href="https:
Are you using version 0.83[B].029?
A demo at this point wouldn't make sense. Members of the human race are in general not rationnally thinking beings, even more so when it comes to the internet. So when they see what is obvious to the beta testers, and that is a constantly evolving, slightly bugged, slightly unbalanced game, that's missing 2/3 of the races and several other things, they'd instantly, without thought, draw the red card and open the floodgates for little else then a whine fest. "ZOMG dis game
I'm disappointed that everyone goes for the Kol as their first ship, seems to be a trend forming. And I'm also disappointed in the semi-cobalt spam, at least early and mid game. They dominate far more then any other ship as long as they are in a swarm. I guess I had hoped for a bit more from, IC devs that has had the multiplayer for considerably longer then the players. Though hats off to Blair nonetheless for his performance.
So I picked up CoH:Opposing Fronts to play over LAN with my buddy when he drops by from time to time, only to find out that Relics new inane cd-key hell prevents lan play with one copy. \o/ So I guess I bought my self a 50$ paperweight.
Outlook makes me want to slit my wrists too. Having to use it at work makes me miss Thunderbird. Novaburst thinks companies should toss MS products in the bin
Openoffice Is all you'll ever want to use. "#%"% that Microsoft garbage, woe is me that I gotta work with it again.

when we get the two other races in performance is sure to take a dive. That is not necessarily true There are a lot of optimizations that have yet to take place. Good. <img src="http://images
Artifacts makes sense now Vanderburg. Thanks for clarifying.
Thanks for the reply Vandenburg, took some of your corrections and edited the OP. Actually it works like artifactCount. It sets how much bonus in total are there in a map. Distribution then is random. Isn't that redundant then if the values are the same? I believed artifactCount to mean the global number of artifacts in the entire galaxy. And planetBonusCount to mean the maximum number of bonus any given planet can have. I derived
Some other noticeable changes are the removable of the starting Light Frigate and Colonizer. Don't do that. It slows the beginning of the game down too much and it also benefits the Akkan too much. To upload, either post the file here as text or
I've got only 1.7 Ghz CPU... Will it run? What the other two overlooked is that we really need to know what your CPU architecture is -- 1.7 GHz P4 is a lot slower than a 1.7 GHz Core 2 Duo. In fact, a 1 GHz core 2 duo would probably defeat a 3 GHz P4 pretty handily! There isn't any Core 2 Duo at 1.7 GHz that I'm aware of
Galaxy Creation – Reference Guide I hope this reference guide helps others in making some great galaxies. I strongly suggest you start small, and learn the basics instead of jumping straight in to making 5 star setups with 40 planets from the beginning. Use the default galaxies for reference and follow the KISS Principle and you'll be just fine. This guide uses the Close Encounters galaxy file as a point of reference in
