When beta 2 came out... I played a game or 2... Then the game sorta froze... Everytime I try and start the program, it just freezes on the very first screen... That now says beta3... Anyone know why? Or how I can fix this. ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 7/8/2010, 11:03:49 Machine name: MIKE-PC Operating System: Windows 7 Ultima

I'll try and keep things constructive, and these are mostly first impression suggestions/concerns. Also, if I propose something that is already in game, plz let me know. 1. Game crashes alot... But I've read that alot of players are having this issue... So be it... 2. The game needs a Civencyclopedia sort of help... I click'ed on the question mark top right... Didn't see very much in there... Not even sure what that was. 3. The normal ground is very bland. I read that

Yup, depressed by a game... This only every happens when I like a game alot, but just can't deal with all the bugs. -SIM going in the negatives: Sorry but this is the result of shotty programing, my CPU shouldn't be craping itself because of this game going more then 15 minutes. -Only Connectivity: OMG! Could you make it take any longer, or any harder to get an online game going successfully? -Destiny Points (purchases) not saving correctly: Favor items are a huge

Not, sure what its called, but I have a question regarding the trinket that takes up the last slot, and that you can get at the start, and seems to use different points. I been playing several games with just Remulus and I bought like 3 trinkets, and started using just one of them... Then I changed characters, and played online a bit... Now when I check the trinket at the start, the 3 aren't "purchased" anymore... Can someone explain to me how this works?
by all means; do a better job yourself. i'm sure a university degree in software engineering, and several years work experience count for absolutely nothing. of course; pathfinding is absolute childsplay. it's so easy that they teach it in high-school programming classes.
Not sure what you are trying to say here... lol... I mentioned this earlier in the post... If my PC isn't supposed to be able t

I'm a little surprised that this info seems to be coming out now... Everyone thought that the end-game slowdown was due to fps? On a sidenote, yeah the adds walking around shouldn't under any circumstance mess up the CPU that badly. Its crappy programming... probably won't get fixed either... At least not within a reasonable time frame.

I keep my computer very clearn of background running programs. The only things that I have in my startup, and that I have running in the background is AVG. I even tried turning it off for kicks to see if it made a difference, it doesn't. Yeah, I disabled all the graphics (that I could) in game, and set the others too low... It really doesn't feel like a graphics issue, but then again what do I know. EDIT: I mean if my computer can't play it properly, not too su
The only reason I see you may be experiencing this is due to your CPU being P4. So while the game runs fine for you at beginning, CPU will eventually bottleneck your computer's perfomance as you have quite a decent video card and 2.2GB of RAM on XP is definitely a solid amount. And even though it is weird to me that Demigod req's say it is recommended to have a 3.0GHz CPU, you meet all the requirements, which makes me think you may have some backg
When you say my PC is good, that gives us nothing. Vista: Press start, type in "dxdiag", press enter, wait a bit, save the text file, paste the results here (you can ignore information after sound specs) XP: Start, run, dxdiag, same stuff. Then we can talk and give suggestions.
Here you go... I know my pc isn't state of the art... but man... It really do

I've only played skirmishes against the CPU so far, and man does the game start to bog down as it progresses... Is this normal? My PC isn't a piece of crap either... Is this normal? Like its so smooth and clearn at the start, and as more units come out, omg... almost impossible to make "fine" movements...

I'm really not very good with this kind of stuff... For command and conquer I had to add some port triggering options, that were pretty easy to do. But what do I need to do for this game... When a host surrenders in multiplayers games, I get booted. What do I need to do?

Well after playing about 10 games, I've come to realize that there are some pretty big flaws in the game. 1. Its too slow, and takes way too long to finish a game, and I've only played on small random. I played one multiplayer game, and my opponent disc. after 40 mins. Probably due to pirates. 2. In all 10 games, I've fought my "actual" opponent twice. The other times its all been me vs. pirates. When I see them come with like 15+ ships, I usually just quit, becasue its really stup
