Now, if only I could make an ICO account......
AlcariAmbaron
Yup, same proble, just send a mail, as said above.
however, Those that pre-ordered, or at least, me... Can't create an ICO account, seeing how the beta key is not accepted by the ICO account creation thinger
make sure you switch to US-1 in SDC, it is under tools-> settings or internet or soemthing like that
amen.
I see nothing.... :(
are we up to 10 yet? if not, count me in. I'll be in to lobby, and IRC anyway.
Its 1.30am of the 5th January and Im just waiting for that email to come throught to start downloading it!
Quick, lend me your time machine! :p
bah.. I already uninstalled my Beta.... waiting.... waiting.... waiting... chews foot off....
Chews Judas' other foot off...
but uhm, Opera conforms to every standard there is... It's probably the hack in use to make it work with IE that is causing opera to display it inproperly (speaks the hobby webdev)
Yup, those bars should be greyish, but are white, which is rather annoying. I personally blame IE. I've posted this before, months ago, though I doubt the thread can be dug up...
Yes, but it's to much work. But, will we, die-hard first timers, be getting a new key, or will our retail keys be the same as the beta key?
yugh milk... But who needs sleep eh? I sure won't be getting any tonight.
It's a conspiracy I says! Theys is trying to blind us sos we don't pwnzor them there noobs at day one! [/tinfoilhat] I have no idea, I suck at these things. (no eet, stay out of it)
all digital pre-orders would be completely handled by 8pm EST tonight
Meaning 0100 tuesday GMT. Or 0200 tuesday CET. Going to be a long night :p
Agreed, no more RTS on console. The end result is always a shallow, small, uninteresting piece of rush-fest crap. And then porting the result to the PC, gets you a game where the controls feel crippled, the interface annoying and the armies small and narrow. also, Congrats on making the Next-gen frontpage.
I once knew a man from Alcari Who for some reason liked calamari He was fishing one day In one great shining bay Trying to catch calamari To serve at the feast on Alcari Yet, something was wrong He wasn't singing his song Because as he looked to the sky He saw a Marza fly by And now his planet is gone.
:( There once was a Great Emperor He didn't know who his enemies were
It's official: (and I'm copy and pasting this from the official Sins development source control descriptions that are forever recorded in our eternal records database) "Culture no longer c*ckbl*cked by allied planets"
L - O - L
Frogboy forgot to mention, that when you place the order, SDC contacts your bank / credit card to see if you can actually pay that way. Some banks then place a hold on the monies involved for a few days.
Indeed, I was charged 45 dollars, waaaay back in febuary '07, and then was refunded 45 dollars, to check if my creditcard was real or something. Also, I'd like to preemptively point this out:
Description: Sins of a Solar Empire (C
Unfortunately, few of the publishers in Europe think that space games sell anymore so they won't pick up Sins.
Well, DUH. If you don't put them in the stores, people won't buy them. Just because DarkStarOne flopped, doesn't mean we don't want the spacegames....
I personally think it's great timing of Stardock/Ironclad, to release this the day after my exams, exactly when I have a week off. :CONGRAT:
Yeah, GalCiv2 AI is some of the best AI i've seen. Of course, it could be that I just suck at the GC2, but the AI managed to kick my ass more then once after I figured out most of the game. If Sins AI is anything like it (a bit harder, because of the greater number of values and options, and less mathematical certainty) it will rock.
Three cheers for the thick manual. smart move, us homeworld fans like a manual with some fluff in it.
The first thing I thought was: look at how thick that manual is :D
I make one little remark about the fact that Crysis looks really shiny, and this happens... Don't you just love the Sins boards? :CONGRAT:
Agreed with the above. I personally think it's a lot smarter to reward people who buy the game, instead of punishing those that don't (and a fair deal of user that do).
