My apologies JugernautX, the game is still in beta.
One is a thief, the other is a cowardly thief.
The box describes what the game is, not what it isn't. If the latter were the case we would need an extremely large box :)
[e digicons][/e] hehe - didnt you try this before patkhoo?
Secondhand sales are as bad, if not worse than piracy. In an abstract sense they are the same thing, although one is much faster, and the other stands to profit more.
Sins of a Solar Empire is the winner of 'Best Strategy Game' at Gamespot's Best of 2008 Awards. "Sins of a Solar Empire boldly goes where no RTS game has gone before, deftly combining the empire-building of 4X strategy games (explore, exploit, expand, exterminate) with the tactical precision of real-time strategy. Can you please email this to Thanks Zolop
Hehehe...whoops. Unfortunately no dubious honours (CDN spelling) this year!
Did you purposely word your post this way? "Dear Lord," ? and "If you are still taking dumps..." Just caught me as pretty funny.
Sorry, I just couldn't resist :P @wbino - yeah, that could be a problem. We'll need to look into it further.
Upgrade your video card drivers and turn down your texture quality settings.
Sins has been nominated for PC Game of the Year and Strategy Game of the year at Gamespot. If you feel the game is deserving of one or both of these titles be sure to make it count: http://www.gamespot.com/best-of/ [big whoopsie fixed]
Mistereel, did you happen to purchase it with a different e-mail address than your impulse account?
I am having the same issue. When i load the program it gets hung up for a while. I cancel the process in task manager than reload and it works the second time. I think it may have something to do with impulse updating.
You wont be able to load a pre-entrenchment saved game.
Hehe..Thanks!
You're welcome, I'm glad it worked for you :)
check your pirate screen every once in a while to see how the bounties are coming along. If you head is wanted, you may like to put more bounty on another player.
cyber, update your video card drivers and give it another shot :)
Continuous patches, free updates, extended support, and tools are rewards for those who support our work. It would be an insult to paying customers to give these away. Playing the 'Corporate Greed' card is just low. You obviously know nothing about our company history, our size, and our community involvment.
Honesty shouldn't be forced, it should come naturally from those that want to protect the community they are a part of.
1)Download both SINS and Entrenchment again. 2)Upgrade your video card drivers 3)Press CTRL SHIFT TAB after you get to the black screen (a shortcut to windowed mode) If this doesn't work for you let me know 4)If/When you get into the game try turning down your texture quality settings. * And as usual, you won't be able to open pre beta mods, saved games, or replays. Good luck!
We've all heard rumours of software developers 'holding' off product features to pad future releases now and then, but to assume all developers do this with intent is absurd. If anything, we are guilty of giving into feature creep and packing too much in.
the issues present in Sins and with the dev team make me feel like I'm bashing my head against the wall.
If your bashing your head against the wall with us, I'd hate to see what you do to yourself wh
Ho Ho Hoshiko. May the spirit of the season guide your fleets to victory :P
