I agree with all of it. Being able to build some kind of station to defend the sun or even some dead asteroid planets you don't necessarily want to colonise would be very useful.
I agree, I spend the early game rushing to get it. It needs to be an earlier tech and a price drop would be useful.
Yeah.....EAW should've been a lot better. This mod'll probably be better then it EAW was a horrible game(albeit fun, for all of 3 seconds) Never compare it to Sins again!!! I'm saying Sins is better. Then what armies would you mod in? The classic ones, clones/CIS etc...

There is a BIG problem with this your capital ships don't wait for your frigates so it ends up jumping alone. No, what's worse is when your frigates jump through one or two at a time and get mowed apart by enemy ships. Then when you realise whats going on all your ships have gone....
This has probably be answered somewhere but are the pirates going to actually have bases or something? And will they ever actually attack a player if the bounty is high enough?
I just installed the patches and they fried the game. It said, "application failed to anitialise properly" Any suggestions?
Yeah, that is really needed. Maybe when their shields fail or they hit 50% hull
Orbiting planets could get tricky, you homeworld could go from being safe in your lines to the centre of the enemy quickly. Maybe Gravity well sizes should change along with planet side, as in Terran Planets are bigger then an asteroid planets. I also think that the Phase inhibitors should be toggled on/off like Interdictors in EAW.
Diplomacy AI needs improvement. I went from good trade with two allies while beating and enemy to death to being on the reciving end of an attack from each enemy in different systems the size of my entire armada combined.
But then on the other side if you want your fleets to get halfway across the system it'll take a lot longer then it does now...

Modding with this could be fun. Would we be able to mod what sort of backgrounds are around our system. I mean I've only seen the green, blue and orangy backgrounds but like I said some modded ones could be great.....

I think there is a pirate base, but I have yet to find it... They do like sending wave after wave of ships at me... Damn bounty on my head... Is there actually any pirate bases? I've played a couple of games through and have no more trouble with pirates other then a few ships buzzing about.

1. You build a trade post above a planet. It adds a certain % to credit income depending on how many othe trade post you have and how many people you have trade deals with have. 2. I don't think the culture thing works in a real time game well. But that's just my opinion so I have no idea how it should work so I'll stop mindlessly typing.....
One thing about game setup, when you make a game the same TEC Colour and Name are used for Player 2, Player 3...etc every time. Maybe the name could be linked to the colour and then you can select to colour of you enemy.
