I would just like to know what the Vasari are running from, as far as story goes. The rest is pretty self-explanatory to me. Of course, elaboration in the future would be very, very welcome.
I think it's a pretty good balance of the two, actually. I HATE most RTS games simply because they rely too much on 'twitch' play and micromanagement. GalCiv 2 is one of my favorite games of all time, along with MOO and MOO2, and MoM, simply because these games allow me time to think things through. However, the slow pace sometimes annoys me, as I find myself simply clicking the 'end turn' button over and over again waiting for a ship to arrive somewhere, be built, etc. Sins is great b
Very good news indeed. I personally love Stardock, which is odd because I hate STEAM with a passion. Why do I need a TSR sucking up my resources just to play a game, makes no sense to me whatsoever. As has been iterated before, piracy is NOT the huge problem so many publications make it out to be, and using that as an excuse for poor sales is a load of garbage. System requirements play a large part, but the biggest thing I feel makes a difference is originality. Sure Crysis looks great

Actually, a 'scorched earth' policy would fit especially well with the Vasari, since they're constantly on the run from some unknown enemy, only stopping for brief periods of time to harvest resources (minerals, slaves, etc.) It could also be made to fit with the other races as well, just in a different form. Dunno, it does make sense to me. In the meantime, I just build up the smallest infrastructure possible on planets I don't need/want so I don't go into the red, and put up some def
I'm going through the same thing, problem is I bought the game with a different email address than the one my stardock account is linked to. I tried to correct the problem by switching the stardock email to the one I used for purchase, but that just made things even worse. If I try to register on stardock or the website, it won't let me. I bought the digital DL w/a boxed copy to be shipped to my door. Very, very frustrating.
