Hey, I just updated to the newest builds of SoaSE, Entrenchment, and Diplomacy, and now all of a sudden the manifest system for the mods (mod stacking) isn't working at all. If I stack two mods together, the game minidumps because the entity.manifest for Mod #1 doesn't have the entity refs for Mod #2. If I switch the order so Mod #2 is on top, the game runs, but Mod #1 is completely ignored, despite the fact that the two mods have none of the same files. Is anyone

OK, I greatly increased the autosave frequency and that has helped a lot. I want to send a crash log to Ironclad/Stardock, but I can't find how to enable logging...?
I suggest enable logging. When it does crash send the log file, computer specs, what settings your running, and what your doing ingame around the time of the crash. Send them [email protected]
OK, I'll do that. Hey, I'm running Sins Diplomacy Beta 3 in LAN multiplayer, and every so often the game just completely disappears, and I am back at the Windows desktop. This can happen after pretty much any length of gameplay; the longest I can remember it going without crashing was about an hour, today it crashed within a minute. Needless to say, even with frequent saving, this makes the game nearly unplayable. I have a brand-new, high-end computer (Core i7, 64-bit, 9GB RAM, GTX 26

Hey, So I noticed you now have to have research in order to send resources to other players. However, the research infocard also seems to imply that you can ask for resources from other players ... how does that work?

I am an idiot. Turns out that the problem was in the Player entity for the new race. The entity in question didn't have a quote at the end, and thus the reference was considered "incorrect." I was so busy watching spelling that I missed the punctuation! [e digicons][/e] Problem solved, though...
BCXetreme, what you are describing I have never seen before. 25 ships??
That is an approximate number, but it WAS at LEAST 20 ships, mostly the stronger pirate equivalents of Kodiak Heavy Cruisers. This is in Diplomacy Beta 2. I also have played with pirates active from time to time before, and not until Diplomacy did I see them send anything anywhere near this powerful.

Hey, So I have this mod I'm making, and the game is minidumping on launch with an "Entity Ref not found" error. But the entity that it says is "not found" is definitely in the GameInfo folder, and is definitely in the entity.manifest file. I also updated the entityNameCount in the manifest, and it is definitely correct. I have checked all spelling almost a dozen times, and that is also definitely correct. Why is SoaSE telling me the entity is "not found" when

Hey, I was just checking out the new Beta 2 features, or at least trying to, when an enemy put a 250c bounty on me about 0.001 seconds before a pirate raid launched, and WHAM!!! About 25 pirate ships attacked my only planet. I had nowhere near the research or fleet capacity to do anything about it. Add this to the fact that pirate ships have capital ship strength now, and it's just insane. You should not be able to wipe out another player's entire planet in t

Besides, its a lot faster than the nVidia plugin for Photoshop, especially if you work with textures bigger than 1024x1024. And yeah, it can work in batches. When converting, simply select the nVidia algorithm and DXT5 for all your textures, including the normal maps. I te

Hi, I am currently playing a long-term epic multiplayer game on SoaSE with a friend, and I would like to know, can we change our player names in the SoaSE player settings and still load up our multiplayer save files? Or would we have to start an entirely new game after changing our player names? Thanks!
