Hit effects won't overlap. You need to either shorten the length of the hit effect or lengthen the time interval between the waves to compensate. [e digicons];P[/e]

Depending on the screen resolution, spending extra money on an ATi 4870 or a Nvidia 260 (216core) might be worth it. I currently play games on a Sapphire Toxic 4850 512mb. It has left me wanting on a few occasions while playing at a screen resolution of 1600x1050. I personally plan on waiting until the Evergreen(DirectX 11) generation of ATi cards comes out later this year. Then I'll pick up a 4890 for cheap, unless the new cards are priced reasonably at release. [e dig

The devs are working very hard, with little sleep, to get the game working properly. If you can't wait contact [email protected] to get a refund and please stop filling the forums with this bullshit. Thx.
Ohhh... now I get the concept. [e digicons]^_^'[/e] I didn't realize the reselling of games is going to be through Impulse instead of end-user to end-user.

I'm utterly dissapointed with Empire:Total War. [e digicons] E:TW has the potential to be a great game but excessive waiting coupled with numerous bugs/AI flaws drag the game down. It really could've used another few months of development. I'd suggest not buying it until Creative Assembly releases a large patch to fix the kinks. Side note: I'm getting really tired of developers, like the Creative Assembly, that practice "release

Will the update be getting some optimizing? I'm having some wonky lag issues at about four fleet upgrades in on a 5 planet map. During combat the game will be moving fine at about 30fps. Suddenly though, it will slow down to 5-12fps for awhile(10-20 seconds) then pop back up to 30. This process keeps repeating. To avoid the subsequent "Oh yeah, what are your PC specs?" post. The way I understand it, a pre-order is needed to play the beta unless you're Brad, Blair or Craig. They have powers that allow them to get around the pre-order, while enticing others to fork over 10$. [e digicons]^_^[/e]
