Don't worry Ron, I'm clueless too. [e digicons];P[/e] Just need to keep learnin and soon enough we'll know how to CSCI jargon too.
I can't help but wonder if the cover letter/resume I sent in helped spark this post. [e digicons];P[/e]
RNGs have never been my friend. [e digicons]:S[/e]
I played a little CoD4, BF 1943 and Railroad Tycoon 3. I'm really looking forward to Modern Warfare 2. [e digicons]:d[/e]
Thank you for posting these guidelines. I was very curious about them and appreciate it. [e digicons][/e]
An incremental approach to updating coupled with a digital distribution platform, that automatically updates for you, is a very cool concept. [e digicons][/e]
I'd be for an extended beta process as long as the game doesn't get stuck in a perpetual development cycle. Also, would the beta end when the game is considered 'complete' or by a scheduled date?
Depending on the screen resolution, spending extra money on an ATi 4870 or a Nvidia 260 (216core) might be worth it. I currently play games on a Sapphire Toxic 4850 512mb. It has left me wanting on a few occasions while playing at a screen resolution of 1600x1050. I personally plan on waiting until the Evergreen(DirectX 11) generation of ATi cards comes out later this year. Then I'll pick up a 4890 for cheap, unless the new cards are priced reasonably at release. [e dig

I'd buy it at 50% off. Patch 1.3 is coming on Monday. It primarily adds AI fixes, multi-threading support, optimizations and new units. There are more patches in the works too. They should make the game deserving of it's 88% Gamerankings rating. Here are the notes from shacknews.com http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/59194 " We've worked on implementing the multi-threading in the game for multi-core processors and made many optimisatio

God I hope those come down in price soon. [e digicons]:dur:[/e] All of the demos I've seen have been crazy fast with SSD's.

Give Braid, World of Goo, Plants vs. Zombies, or Space Rangers 2 a try.

I can't help but wonder if the Stardock Kool-aid is grape or cherry... [e digicons]:d[/e]
Stardock looks like an awesome place to work. [e digicons]:dur:[/e] Looking forward to the other videos.
The veil thing reminds me of picking rocks on the farm with my Dad. My brothers and I would sit in the bucket while my Dad would drive the tractor around. When he stopped the tractor it was our queue to pick up all the rocks in the nearby area that were bigger than a fist. This gets a little tiring after awhile. When we started to complain we were tired my Dad would say, and I quote: "So?". [e digicons];P[/e] The really funny thing is he had two perfectly good
I'm very glad to hear Stardock is going to be hiring again. [e digicons]:)[/e] *starts padding resume* [e digicons]:-"[/e]
