I'm working on a spaceship right now, taking a while!!! My teacher instructed us to make a red blood cell so I didn't and turned it into a spaceship. Really curvy and sleek and HAWT, not sure if I'm uploading it though...depends how it comes out. -Phalnax

Stupid ability. I think it should distribute the levels between the present caps ships. However subtract one from the total levels added and make a max of 2 or 3 levels added per ship. My thoughts -Phalnax

Haha. I have 55 regions now and its 1782. I'm at war with Denmark, Russia, and Venice lol. It just exited out on me mid-naval battle. So gonna have to load the autosave next time I start up. I have 500,000+ credits or money units whatever they use. Florins?

Yes still bugs, still slow loading, some random crashes. Patches are being rolled out, so if you can stand it, wait a month maybe? Maybe by then the price may even go down?
ok so is empire total war good? im thinking of getting it
Yes get it, it's awesome. Some reviews rip some things apart but still give it like a 9/10 or A- or something.
Supposedly there's a 1v1 campaign with empire, but I wonder how that works...theres only 2 nations in the whole game? Or is it just like a grand campaign with 2 humans controlling different nations? The manual doesn't really clarify it, or much of anything for that matter.
Nah i read on their website its in Beta form so it's probably buggy or at least not fully functional. Its two players, different nations. They vie for world domination with all the others.

Pshh, Wikipedia, teachers hate when students use that lol so I stay away from it haha.
Oh, and Phalnax, of course he has an account to play online with! After all, the game requires a Steam account to install.
Yeah i realized that lol. what I sorta meant was 'do you play online?' i don't play online lol but it'd be cool i guess, i suck though haha

Haha nice, i haven't had a chance to play it. I'm going thru withdrawal lol. Yeah I'm planning to hit either India or Barbary States soon while hitting the cherokee. Should be a fun decade of war ahead of my empire lol. I still can't get France to trade so next time I play it's going to be a focus. Probably a state gift of 2500 each turn lol if I remember I noticed Galleys have like 250 Firepower and only have 4 guns so those must be some strong guns... One l
found themselves in a pickle and it was ripe for the picking (are pickles picked?) A pickly question.
Haha Yeah I'm making like +34000 a turn. I"m not sure what my total income is but my army upkeep is around 27k and my naval is only about 5k. With the Iroquois down, I'm not on the edge of US-held NY and i need to defend there. So the now 1700 Veterans who wiped our Hurons, Plains Peopl

Lol posting again. I just destroyed the Iroquois and the Swedish. My ally, the Swedish found themselves in a pickle and it was ripe for the picking (are pickles picked?). It took me about 2 years to wipe out the Swedish during the 3 years it took me to wipe out the Iroquois. I have 28 regions under my control. It's 1757 i think. And I'm making ~34,000 a turn. My treasury now is in the 100,000's and growing. Stupid French and stupid Italian States still won't trade and I think Russ
For example it seems you can pretty leave England totally defenseless without worrying about an attack from the AI.
Yep 107 turns in, haven't been attacked on home soil. Bout to hit the Iroquois for sure this time!! No lie, been saying that for a few posts now. Haha. Yes even though Naval Battles didn't get great reviews I find them fun, as long as there aren't huge fleets, that may be a chore as PC Gamer put it. I don't mind a few five v five battles at most.</
I asked you this [edit] earlier in this thread; glad to see an answer on it. How long ago did it stick, if you don't mind my asking?
Oh my bad didn't notice you asked. I've had this name that I use for a lot of things for about five years now. Maybe earlier, I can't quite remember. Maybe as early as Age of Empires I cuz of the Phalanx unit in that game. Can't be sure though -Phalnax
Alternate history is my absolute favorite genre. I would love to read you books, Phalanx. PS: Do you have any titles for them yet?
Phalnax not Phalanx haha. That's a Greek Formation. Mine is mispelled on purpose because that's how I thought it was spelled and it stuck :) Aww shucks, I'm flattered lol. +1 Karma. I do have titles for my futuristic ones, and it's so original and I'm NOT going to say it though yet. And the 'Alt

Yeah there was a patch today I believe and one next week to help load times and performance, as stated on their website. I haven't played all day!!! Blasphemy lol. After I finish this chapter in the book I'm writing, the Iroquois are going down, I hope. Yeah, so far this Grand Campaign as the Brits, I have yet to fight a battle personally, after 107 turns lol, none fought. It's not my forte. I like Naval Battles but with my fleets I don't know how my laptop will handle i
Are you going to publish them, or was "writing" a typo when you meant to say "reading"?
Yeah writing was the correct word. I do plan to publish them. I already wrote one in the futuristic war series but I did it out of order because I didn't intend to write a series let alone a book. Both books I'm writing now would be the "first" book in their respective series so either one could be published when completed. One has 74 pages, the futuristic one. And the al

Umm well it turned out: Poland declared war on my protectorate the 13 Colonies (random considering they have not fought before and had no access to each other) so I was like hellz no. So I went in and claimed two cities in two turns with the 20 unit army designated for France. Prussia was at war with Poland. Then I think Prussia may have done something to tick me off. But I don't think they declared war on me. For about a decade I claimed all of their cities. </

I'm writing two different books right now. One is in a series about the future and Mankind and space warfare. The other is an alternate Earth on how Humans came to be. I love science fiction but mostly future science fiction. I think we will find other life out there somewhere. This discovery (mutual? sentient?) will stir people's emotions to want to colonize space. We have killed this planet far too long. We should colonize ones already dead if not space itself (spa

Muhahaha, Poland is down to one province and Prussia is no more. Poland can chill for now. Denmark awaits!!! France is too powerful so I bagged that invasion.
Thats who I am as well. I got another one gonna go to my south American zone and see what happens with that one. Just got done pwning the Huron. They went to war and took my northern village but unfortunatly for them I had two massive armies on the way up there (as the first time I played they went to war too). Bad part is now the Iroquis who seemed like they would be good allies seem upset (was friendly with them, now their indifferent) so I'm waiting for them to jump at me. And now t
Reading the description of the bomb ketch I thought that was what it was for. So I am a bit confused about what exactly your supposed to do with this particular ship. Somehow a mortar doesn't seem like it would be very useful against a moving ship.
Oh yeah i forgot about that ship. Yeah in the description it says you should drop anchor to use it better but, you would think it would be better for hitting cities and towns from the sea. Oh yeah 2.0 and Pirates get
Speaking of trading, does anyone know if you have more then 1 indiamen in the trade outpost, do you get more money? As in, if you have 2-3 of them on the same spot, not just in the theater on different spots.
Yes you do, i've had up to 3 and it increase. I don't know the max number. Just look at the Dutch, they start out with 3 indiamen in a East Indies Trade Post at the start. So if you can manage to grab a few trade posts early on, you can still send ships to them. St
I think sieges would be 10 times cooler if you assaulted a major costal city/port and you could bombard the fort with your navy :3
I wish that too, or soften up a city before the invasion. Like one of the options next to Demand Surrender. Naval Bombardment. But this would require it's own ship with a mortar or a ship such as the Rocket Ship or whatever it's called. Have they ever heard of the National Anthem? That's when the British were bombarding the US
