By building multiple foundries, and not having completed the final titan research, it is possible to queue multiple titans and obtain more than one. Once the titans have all built up to 75%, finish the last research. The specific case I saw was in a 2 player lan game with 8 AIs, and the loyalist faction titan being built twice.

I was attacking an asteroid and after all enemies were dead, half my fleet decided to fly vertically upwards and half vertically downwards. Now from the zoomed out view it looked tlike they were parked there, but when I told them to move I was a bit worried when 1 hour later they were still not jumping. hmmmm...my fighters and bomber were waaay down and the rest were heading upwards. had to order them to attack the asteroid (again) wait for them to get back, and then tell them to jump.

IMHO we should consult the fount of all knowledge for all things spaceshippy in games-EVE online (bet ya saw that coming) In most of the space games I have played (including EVE) the cruiser is used mainly as a frigate and destroyer buster. that is to say it excels (sp?) at killing things smaller than itself but cant take on bigger opponents. this is because it is a support ship aimed at picking off small fry that bigger ships have trouble aiming at, or in situations where there are too
