Just put the SoA2 mod folder in your entrement 1.03 mods folder and you should be able to select it from the mods menu in game.

Relik - Before Wednesday the only modding I had ever done was adjusting values to damage or hit points. Wednesday afternoon I decided I didnt like one of the tech trees in the Sacrafice of Angels 2 mod. With no prior expierience or anything, I moved the entire tech tree around, added a ton of pre-reqs, and completely removed one tech, spending about 4 hours in the process. Just open the game research entity files after you convert them into text and the insides are self-explanatory. C

Great mod guys! I've been following the mod for a while now and this is even better then I thought it would be. Only one minidump after 12+ hours of play. One thing I noticed though was that the Fed's tech tree was quite conjested and really, well, messy. So this afternoon and into the night I redesigned the tech tree just for the hell of it. Almost everything is the same as far as tier level goes, I think only one or two techs changed. I did remove one level of pusle cannon upgrades.

I don't think there are too many statistics to say either way what % of people pirate games(Stardock's CEO, however, stated that at the Demigod launch there were around 120,000 Demigod users with only 18,000 of those legitimate customers, so take it as you will). Hmm...it doesn't seem to be working at all. Nothing seems to have changed despite changing the shield parameters to shieldData shieldAbsorbGrowthPerDamage -0.001 shieldAbsorbDecayRate 0.0000 shieldAbsorbBaseMin 0.50 The info card still starts at 15% and goes up to max base mitigation and the damage recieved seems to be the same as well.

Ok, thanks Annatar. I didn't think to look in the race entity files. That was my idea to change the growthperdamage to negative, but I didn't think about what would happen once it reached zero, I assumed it would stop at 0%, but you bring up a good point. Time to run some more tests.

I've been messing around with sins for a bit , mostly just ship/structure values, not much ability/buff, and decidided I'd like to try something different with shields. Instead of shields like we have now which can take a set amount of damage and mitigates more damage as it is dealt more, I'd like to create ships that have almost no shields(seriously, like 1 point just to keep mitigation on) and start with really high mitigation that goes down as it takes larger amounts of damage. Darkshimmer(or whoever SoATEAM is) said right in the topic that he has already created fighter movements for the Bird of Prey. Knowing that, I think it's safe to say he will incoperate who own dynamic movement for most or all of the ships with his own balancing. Being able to use fighter movement on all ships was one of the main reasons he wanted to switch to Entrenchement.

NeoDampiel - Impusle doesn't have to run to play games from it. You only ever have to turn it on if you want to update your games. Steam makes you run it and have an internet connection to run it's games. Don't lump them together.

I'm waiting patiently in the background, and I have to say it annoys ME when people ask for updates or a release date, so I can only imagine how you guys feel. But saying that, releasing a video everyday won't shut them up - they'd ask for two plus the release data [e digicons]-_-[/e] . So just release stuff when you want to. I find it laughable that CreditSuisse keeps accusing people of ad hominem attacks and demagoguery when it seems painfully clear that the only one making personal attacks and trying to stifle the opposition is CreditSuisse themself. IMO, this isn't needed. With the new change in entrenchment that slows SC production in hostile wells all that is needed is a slight buff to flaks.

I think he means he wants to be able to select vanilla sins(whatever version) or entrenchment without having to uninstall or anything. And when entrenchment if officially released it should support that.
