I think it just makes no sense for capital ships to be so few in number considering how most navies have historically outfitted their navies. I know caps are meant to stand out as heroe ships. But I really think all of the cruisers just look like auxiliary fleet vessel instead of staple of the line for a battle fleet. Battlecruisers would have the same feel as capital ships but be slightly smaller and have less abilities as it were. In other words they would look long an

Your right GoaFan77. But I have to hope that this is not all. I mean its not too far fetched for Ironclad to release a 4th race in the BETA and have everybody talking and buying to play it. I mean something like that would get the rest of the original purchasers off their behinds as it were to purchase rebellion and finalise the move from gamestop.

I am still hoping for a 4th side to make the dosh I paid worth it. So far we have got for the price of a full game (a second time around I might add) a few new units and abilities and some graphical polish (which seems to have been turned down with each patch). I mean the previous add ons had just as much really for a tenth the price. Fingers crossed the devs have a surprise in their kit bags for us.

I noticed this. I need to see them do Z axis and a few other things before they get anything out of me. In fact I would much rather they propose a third party campaign for sins there.... the original campaign quality was excellent for conquest.

Yeah i noticed that. Its aiming to be direct competition. I have found out that their is limited Z axis movement to allow ships to be attacked from the top and bottom their is also subsystem targetting if you have the right tech... which may explain the way ships get destroyed piece by piece. I think where Sins may trump is in multiplayer. I don't know how well a turn based total war style strat map will translate. This game is one in a month or so, we shal

Yeah I am a big total war fan so this may be good for me too. It will be interesting to see if I can stand it after sins. I just wish sins had more of a campaign and some more unique features like the 3D and planet revolutions it had in the alpha.... I would almost pay anyone to let me play that alpha. The other thing I do not like is the seemingly limited ship chassis. It seems the more weapons customisation you get in games the less ship classes you get. Its k
