The Kol seems to be more about destroying large numbers of weak frigates, since it has decent numbers of weapons in every arc. The Marza, however, can effectively focus almost all of its considerable firepower (plus damage over time effects) on just one poor soul, making it much more effective at Cap hunting. I find they make a good team. Rush with the Kol, and let the Marza sit back and pummel the tough ones. Ive found the Sova more useful in defensive situations, to simply pour bomb
Now theres a policy I wish more publishers would adopt! Awesome info, Thanks.
The TEC bombardment Ships can be upgraded to do so through research. Don't remember what the Vasari ones do. Never really found this ability useful myself though... If I bombard a planet, I usually don't stop until about the stone age :P
^^ just that. IGN tends to cover games that have high numbers in their "wishlists" and "own it" registries alot heavier. Could lend a hand with some free marketing there. Seems at least one of their PC editors already loves the game, but some more love couldn't hurt.

Awwww.... poor little OneRaul... can't have his way so was forced to a life of pirating. Poor baby! So by your logic here, if your daddy won't buy you a car, you'll just go steal one from somebody because, well, you want a car and can't be bothered to wait till you can buy one yourself? So your daddy forced you to be a carjacker? [sarcasm] Sounds like a GREAT way to live your life [/sarcasm] Piracy is theft, and nobody is holding a gun to your head "forcing" you to do
Who needs HL Deathmatch when u got TF2 ? p.s. GLaDOS FTW!
New new PSU wouldn't hurt though. And one of them nifty new cases with a bazillion USB ports in convenient places :P
A PIRATE!!! Can I shoot him??? Can I? Can I? Can I? PLEEEEEEAAAASE! Seriously, though, Negotiations are underway with a European publisher, so just be a little patient. OR, keep bugging yer daddy for a credit card for Digital Download directly from Stardock. But insisting you HAVE to pirate it will get you little sympathy here.
What really scares me is Steam listed him as the best piece of casual action available for all of 2007! *shudders*
Who would've thought? US[link="http://www.steampowered.com/v/index.php?area=game&AppId=6100&cc=US"]WWW Link[/link]
yep. You can even bind functions to mouse buttons. (Or at least I have been able to.)
I gravitate towards FPS's like TF2 for my multiplayer needs. I can hop in, do my thing, make some gibs of my buddys and then get on with life. Its difficult for me to commit large portions of time to a game without interruptions. Kids and all... really kills the multiplayer experience. And saving a game to come back later never really has the same magic as playing through to the finish in one go. So, yeah, Sins will probably be just a single player game for me. (But a grea
Yeah, its nice to mouse over your opponents cap ship just before it explodes and see "Flagship" written there. Muahahahahaha
Aw, go on, Prezo. I love me a good piece of ... *ahem* ... Fluff. :P
with its own logistics structures, or still tied to planetary developments? Or even independent of both, where cash = higher fleet cap w/ no limits tied to planets?
yeah, well keep giggling. Im tearing my hair out. X-(
To add to the confusion, that screen appears to be of the Advent Race, and we have not yet had the honor of playing the advent. In fact we know almost nothing about them. Harmony seems to be the "civic" side of our current trees. I can recognize a few of the icons for metal and crystal productions, and a couple of other techs likely to be shared between races, but theres a lot of stuff there we know nothing about on that there screenie. Just makes it that much more aggravating, right
Ah yes, Canadian bacon. [quote]...eat your firstborn![/quote] Nothing quite like the flavor of firstborn thinly sliced and slow roasted! Especially on Pizza! With Pineapple!
So they really need to pick up a clan member named Xenophobe. THEN, we won't need to go through the bother of inferred references.
:SURPRISED:

weeeell... some tactics require more micro than others. If you try double Dunovs, micro. If you want to embargo him to death... not so much.
Ill have to see em in action before I pass judgement, but they sound like a little more incentive to build more civic labs a little sooner. Love the look of the new research trees, btw. It'll be so much more efficient to find that one tech I need right now. The "Underground" screen is a nice addition, too. Is the progress bar below the pirate an ETA to next raid? How accurate is it? Id rather it were able to fluctuate to a degree, especially cool if you could influence
