People pirate games because (IMO) they regret for those dollars/euros spent for the game. Now, if you are smart enough, you will download a demo, watch some trailers, gameplays BEFORE you decide to buy the game. If it's good enough for you, you will buy it. Message to all pirates: It's up to you. If you gonna pirate things - don't be surprised when you gonna see the police is looking for you (you might get tracked, you kno
i do agree that most capital ships are to weak they should be more powerfull "even in singleplayer... dunno whats the problem there" only the marza / evacuator stick out above all others (and Advent's progenitor + Halcyon both having 2 powerfull abilities "shield regen , energy aura") the game remains playable tough, and i do think other things should be looked at that seriously hamper gameplay before changes to capital ships are to be made,</p
when someone runs off with your bag and you search for the ion bolt button when you explain the big-bang theory as a novalith shell impacting a planet when you trashed your car and search the phone book for "Hoshiko repair Team" when standing in an overcrowded area you think about the Guardians Repulse ability when talking to your friends the topic goes about the Kol shooting an Asteroid bug when you go to NASA and ask how the war vs the Vasari is going
Gotta wait for support. You can have your friend buy the game. Make sure you have the confirmation email sent to you.
and save the confirmation e-mail i.e. print it and keep it somewhere where you'll find it when searching for it "in Soase's box.. if you have one"
You can turn auto-attack off and just micromanage them and they really don't belong in contested gravity wells, anyway. I think they're fine the way they are; otherwise they could end up being overpowered. They definitely have their uses.
exactly as how i think of it.... like the post above... building a siege-cruiser when an enemy has a starbase in your gravity well seems the best way of g
it's alot easier getting patches once u manage to get impulse running.. believe me "i tried it" actually pirating sins beyond v1.05 is very possible... they'll just upload the entire "for example" 1.15 version of soase... and since soase is only 1/2 gigs or so big....download wont last that long i firmly stand agasint pirating and not buying.... but i've also had troubles getting Impulse to work, and i did try to just pirate patches at that time tough.... m
Or you could just use the Revalation's Reverie to inturrupt Missile Barrage.
owned >.> missle barrage is nice... high damage... n such but easily counterd by ion-bolt "etc" to interrupt its casting, would be a waste of 150 antimatter and cooldown for the marza that way
hm... i dont agree with the structures slowly dieing, tough a decomission ability on construction frigates would make sense tough it is fine as it is now... this option is entirely optional
You get the tech that allwos you to build your starbases faster,t hen you build a starbase in his gravity well Also Nano-Disassembler is probably my favorite anti-Starbase ability Combined with Subverter's lower shield mitigation it will make short work of the base
applies mostly to Advent starbase tough... you'l have alot less effect with that strategy applied on TEC or Vasari... tough still effective
thats a few nice ideas..... fuel would actualy change the strike-craft into a Support-unit as it would require timing when to launch them, and when to withdraw having strike-craft docked b4 the carriers are allowed to jump would also be a mayor improvement (altough an extra command should be added that toggles between jumping AFTER all strikecraft have been docked and the.. more cruel, leaving them behind "at wich.. ofcourse.. the jump-after-dock should be standard....
2. TEC and Advent starbases still 'jiggle' left and right when trying to aquire new targets that are out of range.
i guess all the crew inside are over-excited about finaly someone coming into range >.>???
dunno if the guide's really a guide.. just how you play sins.... playstyle heavily depends on wich cap-ship you take, so the cap-ships you pointed out might be the ones most people take... but it's entirely possible to begin the game with another one, becuase it suits that playstyle....
Follow a more experienced player, if they are telling you to do something, they probably (i didn't say always *cough* Siddy *cough*) are not trying to ruin your game or trick you. When y
most importantly split fleets, even if they are in the same grav-well split up the fleet, and have them do different tasks... or work together on the same one "still split tough" look what the AI has, massed kodiaks? get bombers, massed Light Frigate? get LRF's ALWAYS get support frigates, if u play TEC get hoshiko's 25 of them in a maxed out fleet will surely keep you alive....&nbs
I never really liked the idea of it. We have disabling abilities and I think some ship with a slow already and plus I wasn't a big fan of the fluff description of it. Ships in gravwells aren't really manipulating subspace, but instead just using conventional chemical or ion drives, so some sort of subspace inhibitor seems silly from how I understand it.
yeah now that u mention it.... why call it a subspace inhibitor..
Science never proves ANYTHING. Ever. All science does is disproves things. A hypothesis which is not proven false by experiments gets to become a theory, at which point it is pretty much accepted to be true, or as true as we currently can know. they say the universe is estimated to be 14 bilion years old they look to the edge of the universe, where they see it is expanding. with some pretty brain-vaporizing calculations they measure the rate at wich it is expanding, then calculating the gap between where they see it is expanding and where the universe actually is expanding "what we see in space happens # years(time) ago where the # depends on the distance you are looking at.... even light has a speed, i
depends on map size... but even small 1 vs 1 can sometimes end up in a 2 hour match im sceptical about the quick-start, sure hope people won't use quick-start as a standard...., you'll have an entire different game when working on your own empire from the start, compared when being given buildings and ships
meh, I play red alert 3, pretty quick half and hour max
That's becuase RA3 is
since sins's official release i've always wondered why capital ships were low on guns.... not even a single flak system "except for the kol's ability ofcourse.." about every known starship/station i can think of has some type of anti-fighter system installed "tough the Death Star's turbolasers were to big to deal with the Y/X-wings..." SC are a serious threat, as the Japanese obviously understood, the yamato, being a moving flak-ship, the attack on pearl-harbor using onl
yes, flak frigates are near useless.... tough rly DO help when used properly, first of all, dont use them as an attack frigate, rather use them as a support frigate, and spread them out acros your fleet, tough pretty slow at killing fighters/bombers, becuase it's inability to pursue, spreading them out during a battle where strikecraft are a problem rly does kil them, tough slowly... the only thing that gets annoying is that they break of of your inte
wow, finaly, like all the things that annoyed me have been dealt with...all those little annoying details that tough small rly matter in playing. now í'm sure to start playing sins again you rly have been working hard :) now i just hope entrenchment will be a big hit.. and that we'll have plenty of peopel online there.... unlike some other games where people just played the original, not bothering about the expansion
