Umm.......no, I'm thinking the shipped CE edition boxes won't arrive until at least the middle-end of this week!
How do you uninstall the game cannot find it in the list to be removed from the add and remove icon in windows? Harvey
I believe you have to do that through SDC (stardock central). Right-click on the game, un-install? the Monk
Firstly this is not a moan or a bitch its a sincere technical question. I am looking at the StarDock store and logged in as myself, I have placed a pre order but when I select "My Account" I do not see any product listed nor do I see anything under "View past orders" Should I take this to mean that I dont have a standing preorder and I need to do so now, or does page simply not display any preorders? Any help appreciated.
That just me
Can we say "instant-gratification-generation"? My god, lets exercise some restraint at least if we can't seem to remember human decency (and don't go telling me that human decency would be having your serial already). I got my serial hours ago (luck of the draw) and I haven't downloaded one byte (haven't even installed SDC yet) because I'm on here looking for people having real issues so that I can help! Take a deep breath people, then remember that we're all
im pre ordering the game. i acutally pirated beta 3 and played it 3 hours straight. cant wait to download it tomorrow from stardock. hmm they should of released a demo before the game came out to get more people to buy the game. pretty stupid imo.. but then again the witcher had a demo after release and it was selling well before it came out.
Umm....In my opinion stupid = posting on the dev forums about pirating their beta? :( *begin rant*
Intel tried that approach with the Itanium and lost a LOT of money.
Most of us don't in fact succeed the first time. :)
EDIT: Although at its first steps, Quad-core processors and up are the way of the future. SINS, due to the sheer scale of playability, would be a perfect candidate for the implementation of this kind of scalability, looking well beyond into the future. But, of course, technological breakthroughs are costly and one can only hope...
That's my point. A real technological breakthrough would be for the chip makers to rewrite how the cpu interprets
When quad cores represent a sizeable fraction of user-end computers, pretty much the same way dual cores have only just become standard for gaming. (If you can call it "standard" when all to many games don't support them in any real manner)
*applause* Here's what I say to the "quad-ers"....... ;-p "sucka"! I like to keep my money in the bank, where it might actually do something for me. Instead of clocking-back cores, pac
Ummm...read these forums? :NOTSURE:
Rescue Raiders....anyone? hehe :D Ahhh.......the room is filling with the sweet, sweet smell of nostalgia! :HOT: I also remember countless hours spent playing Speedball 2 (but that was later on on the Amiga 500) I bought the recently released Speedball 2 Tournament via Steam, however I advise those caught in the "nostalgia" of the moment to reconsider. The "dreamy past" is best left there.....the past! :NOTSURE:
Loderunner baby! :CONGRAT:
Ummm....where's my love?? No circle for me? hehe Guess that's what I get for not staying "current" with the site or participating in the betas!...
Gives the_Monk an *EVIL EYE* Where were you when Beta 3 came out!
*looks away ashamed* hehe I'm ashamed to admit that I checked out Sins back when the website consisted of a single webpage! Then, realizing it would be a while before it came out and not wanting to torment myself by constantly checking back to keep tabs on progress I *trails off*.... left the site for a while... :SURPRISED: I didn't check back until sometime last f
@ ALL Hiya back at everyone who already posted! Looking forward to a long stay with this community. :) I apologise but the clan-server I'm hosting my guide from has temporarily gone down (I'll have to find the web-admin and get the problem corrected) Sorry for the inconvenience.
Not to be a stickler or anything, but I've never heard those terms you used for NAT before. Now I know it's just semantics at this point and with naming
Argh, The link to my "networking-for-the-gamer" guide didn't show up properly in my first post, so I'll try again. Here's the link to the general NON-SINS version of my guide: (for my SINS-specific guide look up! at the OP just under the GREEN writing!) WWW Link I should also mention that I actually run my servers .exe as a wind
I have already posted this information to several other forums including the World in Conflict forums where it has received much attention and helped many people with posts such as "I can't connect to servers" , "I can't see all the servers" , "my friends can't see/connect to my server" etc. I have decided to post it again and hopefully it'll be made into a sticky! I work in IT (design complex NAT/network structures for coporate clients) so that's how I know what I
Doesn't work for me and I've tried the following: 1. 3 differnt browsers. 2. 6 different computers. 3. 3 different internet connections 4. all of the various websites suggested. hmmmm...
Come on Schod, this post is making you sound like one of my teenage boys. (hint: that's not a good thing!) :p Anyway, It may not have been a "grand" victory however it was a victory nonetheless and should be shown respect in defeat. The measure of a man is how well he carries himself in defeat not victory. (and most certainly not his e-penis size! hehe ) Have a nice day!
now, if I only had the slighted shred of respect for the local gamestores, I might feel different, but frankly, they all employ nothing but idiots.
LOL ;)
My dedicated server (the Monk's [Proving Grounds] along with a public TS) will be up on release day! Sooo excited! :d
As noted by others, if it wont work here, try logging in at forums.stardock.com or forums.wincustomize.com and give it a try there (odd but it sometimes works).
Like I said, I've already tried that.....no joy! :NOTSURE:
I also can't seem to upload a personal image file. I've tried all kinds of pictures and all kinds of sizes (50x50, 49x49, 40x40)? My profile pic went in a 150x150 with no problems? EDIT: Oh, and although I mostly access the forums using the "sins" website I did try the other websites as well (Stardock etc.)
It may be giving better support now, running XP built equipment, but once we step up to Vista level hardware, (and if you properly tweak Vista), performance gets a whole lot closer. Vista uses more resources to run, but it's also much better at managing resources. So as we stretch our legs into greater amounts of horsepower, we'll see a pretty drastic change. Course, I suppose it's hard to say, if you could get drivers for DOS, you could never find a more stable or fast OS.
<
Actually, according to the requirements for Games for Windows "Maintaining compatibility with Windows XP Professional x64 Edition is not required, but it is strongly encouraged." http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb173456(VS.85).aspx#_2.2 Soooo I guess I'll have to cross my fingers unless someone from the production staff can weigh in on this.
1. Unless I'm mistaken Yarlen just said 3? posts up that "yes it will work" and he's a r
