So! We know that iron clad has released one great game! But what about the next games? Sins 2? Something completely different, or another type of RTS? I have half a right mind to go to Vancouver and going "Wots up eh?"

You'd be surprised to see how many new players there are online. Try logging on for Regular Sins sometime and you'll probably find several new, low-skilled players.
Unfortuantely I'd rather not find out and get into a game with some guy who

As seen in mah avatar!
Hiya. I'm new around here and finally started playing online. I like playing with others and am not very good but its still fun. I've only been able to play 1 online game so far and it was very fun. I like slower paced ones that aren't super fast. Is there any group that plays regularly online that I could perhaps join? I'm in Oregon, if you needed my time zone. I play all times of the day, depends on my schedule but will schedule play times if needed. Thanks.<br
Play on smaller 1v1 scenarios, they virtually never surrender in these cases, to the point at which you can kill all their units and be bombarding their last planet and they STILL won't surrender.
Thats uhh, not the point I wish you could set it off for when you play large games, typically never play 1v1...
I think it would be far better to move on to Sins 2 or another project entirely at this point. The engine is starting to show its age, and the multiplayer community is pretty much dead. They need to step back, look at what worked well and what didn't, and make a new game. A few things need to be fixed still, but generally Sins Trinity is about as good as the game will get without a major (ie $30-40) expansion. I'm talking ne
Sometimes AI just get a tad too busy with real life stuff, walk their AI dog, throw their AI ball around with the AI kids you know, pepi and his little daughter Butch Anderson. Then there's the other AI, you all know him.. Lets just say he's got some dents to work out of his car... Basically yeah their economy has been shattered, they've been diplomatically embarassed, or cultural influence is so close to teetering that they only had a few minutes left... I
What you misunderstand nabs, is that I don't mean "sometimes people venture online and then hate it so they only play SP", I mean that 95% of Sins players are probably still playing v1.05 VANILLA and don't even know what the "Ironclad Online" button even does. It's not that people go online and then desync, minidump, or get totally pwned, mocked, and spammed by "skilled" players, but that they just never take any interest in the onlin
Canada's had a few of the coldest winters its had the past few years. This one has been mild, but last winter was hellishly cold. Same with the US, but its winter is actually fairly cold for them atm.. Actually most the world has had record cold winters the past few years...
Maybe it would appear to you as a ridiculous or displaced comment but the fact is that I don't like nuking planets. Not especially because it means loss of ressources or planets when you are bombed or a painful wait as you have to annihilate a 6000 defended planet but mostly because, well, it is slaughtering civilians and even if it is a game, i feel uneasy about it. So, i have a suggestion : Would it be possible to add a new capacity to siege fregates
I never played it, but I did play Haegemonia!
So.. You want to compete with a game genre that naturally has more players? You are gauging an RTS 4x's success based off of an MMORPG, a lousy one at that, that has its subscriptions because its ridiculously easy and can run on a friggen Athalon? My soul hurted there for a minute =/.
I would LOVE to see another race completely space based, ie it doesn't use planets for its economy in a traditional sense, so it would use economy ships to raid enemy planets, asteroids etc, ships that construct their production facilities in gravity wells etc but as mobile and nomadic as possible. Not the best multiplayer race but gosh this would be fun to play single player!
=/ Thats the problem you went with a quad core. No games as of current (NO GAMES) use all 4 cores without heavy modification which ends up busting it anyways. Even Crysis, claimed to be a 4 core game, really only uses 2 to run basically everything, 4 cores will net you "Awesome" physics, where plants and crap react to your presence but everything else? Lags behind. At present, Quad Core is the -BEST- set up to use for gaming. But for sins, a single, QUALITY, core would be

I'll Grow your FACE!
I hope not hahaha, I never let the AI's get to the point where its feasible, I either keep it so their economy is taxed fighting me or whipe them out. I could see Unfair's doing it if you let them though.
Z axis!
I was in Steel Command for abit, I enjoyed actually getting to play match's where people REALLY made mechs, not those figgen laser running tin cans.
I may, how long are the matches usually?
The Normandy SR-1 class of frigates could be the basic scout frigate for the Alliance. They're small, poorly armed, extremely fast, and it could have its stealth systems operate similar to SoA2's cloaking, and the cloaking would be unlocked via research to prevent it from being OP. I think the Normandy SR-2 should be a cruiser as its too small to be a capital/dreadnought. You could unlock the Normandy SR-2 design by resear

Hopefully Ga'ould, I hate star trek last thing we need is another mod lol.
