I LOVE Online play! I dare not try it on this though lol... I know there are gonna be players out there most of the skilled guys that will play this game just with 1 unit, just with a huge fleet rush as soon as possible etc, honestly thats now how -I- want to play, or ever learn how to play. I play this game for all its intricacies, I like taking planet by planet etc, taking my time building up making a resource empire, renaming crap even lol. I don't think

The thing I really don't like is the ship is geared for fighting Advent only pretty much! Soaks up energy damage shore, that helps with the Viscari but it does nothign for TEC lol, actually a bad thing even.

Its good, just like having enough Hushiko's is good they can make a fleet ridiculously survivable, and makes it so you'd be better to focus on the Hushiko's. I play Advent, so subjugators are alright but I like the Hushiko's.

I dunno Ron, it wouldn't hard to make a good campaign with what they have now, this engine could prolly make an amazingly interactive story line, and it's just a shame they don't even try. Hell a story wouldn't be too hard to write based on the and anything would be fine, but I put it to you, name 3 RTS's that are still successful that have NO campaign, no story and nothing but multiplayer? This would make this game so much more interesting especially their plan of no story/campaign lol. Heck even simplifying it to "You can use offensive ships, you can use social ships, you can build, and you can research" and then just have the leader guy who has a little check box next to each of the people in his empire so he can assign what to what etc hehe. I dunno they need something interesting like this though.

Well I read all this pretty well, and I get what some people are saying but; Ships in space will have retro rockets, corrective engines that will allow them to stop and stay in position, this would have a lot of advantages, being closer together to keep bombers and smaller ships from easily maneuvering though your lines, keeping ally ships closer to recover jettisoned squishies, er people, making it easier to fire at the enemy from a stationary position etc..
