They love to destroy their customer base with draconian restrictions and then bawl about how piracy is cutting into their bottom line. Regular as clockwork. Dr.Gonzo
Why does that matter?
Indonesian Passport Policy: Indonesian passport is a travel document issued by the Government of Indonesia to Indonesian citizens only who reside in Indonesia or overseas. US Constitution Policy: No person except a natural born Citizen , or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person b
http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/born_in_the_usa.html
Doesn't say a god damned thing about his travelling on a foreign passport. Also, why wasn't this produced at the beginning of the campaign, since it was a simple matter of fact? Also, 2/3s of the [relevant] citations of that article don't exist anymore. Also, define: wikiality. Dr.Gozno
@ Kodiak Why don't you just get one of those huge ass things that stores like 500 discs and switches them for you? Dr.Gonzo
Punative damages are an accepted part of civil law and have been for decades.
So has the tax code. Just because it's a tradition at this point doesn't make it right, or legal. Dr.Gonzo
Remember this when retailers whine that Internet Customer is destroying their businesses ;) Also, retailers aren't thrilled with the digital download system, as it cuts into their kool-aid, so to speak-- They don't overstock the shelves with Steam and Impulse games. DrGonzo
I blame stupid kids, stupid parents and XBOX360... Harvard Business School would be a distant runner up-- why give away what you SHOULD when MOUTH BREATHERS will PAY for it. Horrible, horrible business model. DrGonzo PS: I don't consider Entrenchment to be DLC.
minimum of cost.
You and I obviously have a different definition of minimum. Because minimum is zero. Compared to the rest of the content of the game, D
For Entrenchment it turns out the galaxy.manifest has to be changed to reflect the map addition if it's not located in some fubar hidden directory. [Seriously, whoever thought of that, should be shot-- probably someone at MS... I dunno, who ever it was- shoot them] I got sick of the same thing so I wrote a little program in C++ that would modify the [galaxy.manifest] file appropriately. https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/354753 Might help, might not-- DrGonzo</
The trick is to keep the distance of conventional phase jumps short enough that players can actually rush so that the civic labs don't appear too early.
Never had considered that-- will in the future :) DrGonzo
How much RAM in this tabletop PC? DrGonzo
Try to work towards one that has semi-serious orbital positions while keeping some sense of balance-- it's harder than it sounds. Dr.Gonzo
Wasn't EA just the publisher? They're not going to have any clue what the hell is wrong... unless it's something wrong with the media it came on-- or the installer maybe? Something on their end. Other than that, they just printed the discs, manuals and boxes as far as I know. If EA put the wrench time in on the game it wouldn't run at all, for anyone. Dr.Gonzo
Well, if you have [the same version], you're both _running_ the same version and the Mod CRC is zero, Im about of ideas of what to tell you-- It's a foregone conclusion that the other computer is on the network and can be pinged? Dr.Gonzo
Check the event manager to see if it gives you more information. Right click My Computer -> Manage -> System Tools -> Event Viewer Check System and Application. Dr.Gonzo
NVIDIA Quadro FX 3000 is your likely problem-- I don't think these cards were ever made with blistering Direct3D performance in mind... they're optimized for [OpenGL?] -- maya and 3DStudio benefit from cards like this-- not the latest greatest PC games. Why WIC works well and the others don't Im not sure of... Someone kick me if I'm wrong-- just my understanding. DrGonzo
How odd, I was lamenting the same thing while watching a replay last night. I would guess it's just not worth the man hours to make that look right-- Most of the times fighters are just represented by a little rotating icon-- by the time you're zoomed close enough to see them-- you've lost the tactical picture and the ability to effectively manage units-- you're just watching for aesthetics sake-- which I do a lot of as well. :3 Lots of things need their attention-- this should probab

Been having problems since 23:00[about] on 21/06/2009. General symptoms are severe unresponsiveness- regardless of page desired or being logged in. Happens with Opera and IE8. mactheripper- requires OSX, dumps it to vob if I remember, which anything worth shite can play without incident. Diskspace is dirt cheap why compress and remove audio channels? ... it's the only thing my mac is still good for :( Dr.Gonzo
I feel old... there's not nearly enough 1: WARCRAFT II [friends.pud... anyone out there feel me?] in this post... Hands down... Number one. Made me love RTS and want to continue playing them... aside from that 2: Myth, The Fallen Lords 3: Starcraft 4: Sins of a Solar Empire / Entrenchment 5: Command and Conquer: RA Certain runners up: Company of Heroes, Men of War, Age of Empires, Cossacks Dr.Gon
Either of you running mods with a Checksum > 0? DrGonzo
Nice, how did you take that?
I tend to watch my replays, because you often miss a lot of the beauty of the game with tactical managment, constant zooming and player load-- It's just a screen-buffer dump that's been edited with photoshop :) DrGonzo
This is not a criminal penalty by any means
It's absolutley a criminal penalty- They're throwing the book at her to dissuade others from doing the same... just like they would do a cocaine dealer. The damages are punitive towards her as a result of the actions of many, and have Z ILCH TO DO WITH HOW MUCH MONEY THEY ACTUALLY LOST AS A RESULT OF HER DIRECT ACTIONS WHICH IS THE WHOLE POINT OF A CIVIL LAWSUIT .
