I think you should know something. When I received the collectors edition in the mail, I received a box with a serial number in it, as would be expected. The serial number is in the proper format (6 blocks of 5), and appears to be valid, though I have not tested it. The serial number I received in the box, which is presumably a valid serial, is not the one from my receipt, I have actually checked to verify that. Hence, anyone who printed off their receipt and paid to have the game shipped to the

Selling isn't called Selling in Sins, its called Scuttling. It self destructs the building, but you get some of your resources back when you do it.
Right, which presumably is coming if the game is totally moddable. It can't happen with what we have NOW maybe, but I heard someone mention the ability to do scripts was coming.
Well, my theory is this. You can only not phase jump between contested boundaries. You must own both planets to phase jump, otherwise its normal travel. Also, you can build in phase lanes so that you can prepare for when it becomes contested.
Actually I was being serious. What makes you think its impossible? All it would require is a change to actions to have ships move physically from point A to point B, and to have the game populate a gravity well where a phase lane should be. I've never done a mod before, but I'm tempted to actually attempt this. I think I've already figured out how moons would be possible.
Actually Pirates attack the least defended planet, and take the shortest route to get there. In that sense, pirates can take several routes.
Guess not
#1: Improved Diplomacy #2: Have an option to remove phase space (See my thread at https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/?aid=176773#1456935 for an idea of how it could be done) #3: Fix the AI. Specifically improvements when it comes to surrendering, combat, and targeting fighter swarms (I have yet to see an AI attack a bomber/fighter squadron directly, despite it nearly wiping out their entire fleet) #4: Audio Chatter #5: Improved Superweapons #6: Allow for Deep Space Coloniz

Does anyone know the modding capabilities?
The only issue is, I have no skill in mod making. I think the developers could do it no problem and make it an option (Phase lanes enable/disable, Building Restrictions on/off). The only question is, is there any chance of the developers actually doing any of this? I've heard rumors of the Stardock team doing a lot towards what the community wants, but I mean, the product is out. And we don't know exactly how moddable the game is. In THEORY, it shouldn't be that hard. I could
Offensive artillery positions. I like the idea.
The question is. We know the game can SUPPORT that much activity, but can it be modded to do it.
Well, thats something I feel is missing from the game, is the ability to colonize deep space. That gas planet would be perfect for an outpost with a few missile defense turret emplacements. Imagine being able to build pirate like outposts in empty space.
Its just a title.
Hey guys. Absolutely love the game, but I have a proposal for a mod some people might be interested in. It seems to me a lot of peoples complaints stem from phase lanes. The AI plays 'hop scotch' as one person called it, Siege fleets and pirates can crop up in a matter of seconds, and the only real action happens in a planets gravity well. My proposal is for modders to remove phase lanes all together, replacing them with real space. Sacrilege you say? Listen for a moment, ther
Two critiques- - Would like to see some form of huge ginormous amazingly stupendous gun which blows anything smaller than a capitol ship to smithereens in a single, impressively sized shot. The size of a fighter, or thereabouts. Very slow fire rate, and range all the way across a planetary well, of course ...
This exists. The Varsari have a huge cannon that will move across phase lanes and own most ships in a gravity well.
The serial number is on the bottom of your receipt.
With regards to the siege ships, they are not that bad. I've had the AI come at me with a fleet of siege ships before. If your colony is A: Upgraded and B: Defended, you shouldn't have any trouble. I've only had an enemy take over one of my planets once, and that was when I got blind sided by a wormhole invasion with the rest of my fleet occupied by a pirate raid.
Geforce 7900 GT, everything cranked up to max on 1920x1200 resolution widescreen looks incredible. Its absolutely stunning how much can happen on screen at once without any slowdown at all. I had a duel with a pirate base once, over 200 pirate ships vs a fully maxed out Vasari fleet (16 capships plus maxed out enforcer cruisers) and didn't even blink. Now that was epic.
Nope. Its your first unit in the upper left corner. Your 'Scout/Navigator'.
Ok, no. I meant emergency fund transfers. A situation where someone loses their card and needs you to forward them like, $500 so they can get home, or needs you to send them a temporary card via a bank. Theres so much paper work involved in that its not funny.
That'd be an idea for a mod. Just the ability to make little defense posts. Still, its a minor complaint at best.
If what you mean by EFT is what I think it is. I =hated= those. The only thing we ever really had to fill out paperwork for.
kk, yeah. I figured that out. I figured there would be an engineer unit, but I'm new, and lack of an instruction manual hurts. Still, I wonder how you build in deep space, or if you can.
