For whatever reason it does NOT minidump if I convert to binary and place the changed files in the game Directory and not the mod folder. (Yes i backed up before i tried it.) This would indicate a problem with the game's Mod System and not the changes I made. I don't think i used an ability when it minidumped but it was immedately after a small fight so the AI might have used one.

Unless i am looking in the wrong places It didn't say anything about an .entity file when it minidumped. All i got was a windows generic error message. I changed the number of units that spawn at planets that are precolonised to 3 to 4 times as much and added a few cap ships, then i doubled the number of asteriods possible at each type of planet. For some reason the game minidumps when i play as advent for about 10 minutes yet i can play as TEC or Vasari for hours without minidumps. I can't explain why these edits would make only advent crash in this way because they also change all factions in the same way. I have a save where it crashes pretty consistantly within about 5 minutes of loading. http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?mwimenjiydn I was goofing off in a sandbox style thing with all settings set to fast and pirates enabled. It crashes when I was bombarding the volcanic planet where I had my 3 ISD heading or within 5 minutes of loading.

I haven't had any minidump problems even 5 hours into a game but one of the people I play with online has minidump problems about 20 minutes into a match. Also the spell checker in Firefox is broken here. >. It says asdgjakjsdgkask is spelled correctly. -_- On the GPGNet forums the spell check works.
1280x1024 is supported. I use that resolution. Don't know why you can't though.

You can't do it in the Galaxy Forge, you have to code that by hand.
Desert as they are the perfect trade centers because of the large amount of logistics slots they can have. Also Ice and Volcanic as they offer excellent resource capabilities.
Perhaps this is because the Devs have let the game speed be limited by the slowest players processor and because at the start of an game not much is happening the game speed just goes through the roof.

I'm having an hard time making up my mind as all the factions have some of my favorite units and/or abilities. I'd say TEC because my current favorite ability is the Marza Dreadnought's Missile Barrage.

When your empire gets big enough the UI will stop displaying your income and will stop displaying planet names but still display their icon in the income list and will eventually start to cut planets from the list completely.
