I'm still practicing single player before I jump online with multiplayer. So, I have a question for you. How do you think a fleet of say 6 capital ships would stand up against a mass mob of frigates and cruisers? [MAGOG]Kruelgor
.After 10 hours of gameplay I must say this game is a strong winner for online and competition play. I dont like the game at all though..I am an offline soloer and this game cannot meet my requirements in the simplest fashions..It is really too bad...The rest of the game is totall acceptable if I played it online. to those who play....Enjoy..it seems to have the ratings from the magazines to go far.
You have to play the game longer than 10 hours to really get a

There is a limit to the number of ships a player can build and it's based on the fleet crew available. The player will need to build up technology and resources to build a super huge fleet. If the enemy builds a larger fleet than you, and if he owns a much smaller quantity of planets then you did something wrong. Trying to expand your planetary control too fast is a risk. You're taking a risk of the enemy invading your empire when you have spent little of your resources to bu

I believe you should not hold a grudge against players if you run into them again in another game. This sort of reminds me of the classic world domination game RISK. You should expect opponents to make alliances to serve their own best interest. However, I'm sure the element of real-world friendship will affect the game with unspoken alliances. Especially for clans. [MAGOG]Kruelgor

There would need to be a "request save and continue later" button on the console where all players must agree. If all players agree then there would be no penalty for quiting.
Simple as that. Case closed.Great. Now imagine you're playing with your friends, it's late, so you decide to save and continue the next day. Oops, now you've all taken huge hits to your ranking
The penalty would only apply to someone if they disconnected from the game without accepting the SAVE AND CONTINUE later option. If they are all friends as you suggest then they would all GLADLY click "yes" on the SAVE AND CONTINUE LATER option. Simple as that!
No! Kruelgor, you're over here too!? LOLYou gonna raise hell like on the WiC boards?
We're more of a public clan of brothers that plays for leisure. We're not the hardcore type that plays as if it's a professional sport. We do try to be as competitive as possible though.

Here is what they should do. Create a leaderboard ranking system (similar to World in Conflict's [link="http://www.massgate.net/leaderboard.php?player"]leaderboard[/link]). If someone quits the game then they will suffer a severe penalty on their leaderboard ranking. Simple as that. Case closed. [MAGOG]Kruelgor

I have completely changed my keyboard (hotkey) commands and it has made a world of difference. For example, I changed my movement keys from the arrows to the traditional FPS keys like W,A,S,D. I've changed almost all the keys. I'm now lightning fast with moving around and building things. It's great. I would highly recommend doing it.
