If I wasn't "too great" I wouldn't be in Clan X. What are you judging this one? Two 1v1's, a matchset which i rarely play?

SO.. yeah.. there are alot of newbies. On newbies leave when htey lose theri cap. Caps suck, you're fine without them, they're just wasting 50 fleet cap usually past the first 20 minutes of the game. And 3-6 hours long? I haven't played a game that takes more than 2 hours in over 100 games(this is including 5v5's) And no fighting? Stop being wussies. This is why your gams take to long, you're not aggressive enough.

[quote]If I'm banned, I'll just steal the games from now on. Then I will have a problem with Stardock.honestly, we don't care that u r posting, just stop hijacking peoples threads with insults to other people for no good reason including multiple posts in a row.on topic, i'm curious to hear what innociv thinks of RA 1.04. i used it today in a ffa where i was getting severely nerfed by the compu (stuck in 4-5 planets the whole game), i did not find it to be an 'i win' button, even with 8+ gates.

ugh no edit when i just posted... Anyways: Also basically how culture SHOULD work in my opinion is a "weapon" that forces people to scuttle logistics buildings in order to build their own culture. IF they don't, well they'd lose that planet and those logistics buildings are worthless. You shouldn't need a 1:1 ratio of broadcasts.. but it shouldn't just take having a cap there and 1 or 2 of them to "fight" a planet with 8.

The culture spread rate is fine, IMO. Well it could use a slight increase in speed, or better yet the upgrades increase the spread rate at +10% or +15% per level, not +5%. What's the biggest issue IMO is how easily culture is pushed back by other culture buildings(of a much lesser amount) and cap ships.

Yeah i was just about to say.. there is a new thread for this posted every other day since the game has been out. In peoples defense, it should be on the neutral extractors description. But still, people should search or look on the first page..

Generis Rising was a neat idea... but simply not fun to me. :\ If the sins expansion had organic ships for a new UNIQUE race.. that'd be awesome, though. :) Of course, this assuming they'd have unique organic life form sort of abilities, like mutating.

That was directed to Makasuro.. not you. But if you think the same thing.. uhh. I just disagree. If you micro your caps movement you can make them back up in reverse or strafe sideways. Keep clicking repeatedly close by them.

Kay. Good to hear your concerns. Like we said before, learn to play. RA is powerful because newbs can use it almost as effectiveness as the veteran players. So if you have a bunch of newbs playing each other, one going RA has a big advantage. While in a game with skilled players, it's not much of an advantage, it's just even to tecs eco spam, and Advent has much more powerful fleets at lower fleet cap. RA doesnt' need to be nerfed, it needs to not oversimp

http://rapidshare.de/files/39173440/AutoRecord-04200118.record.html First game. I was winning, then got embargo'd. I was a dumbshit and didn't make radiance so it was gg. http://rapidshare.de/files/39173449/AutoRecord-04200138.record.html Second game. He just plain won. There was a bug in the asteroid belt which messed up my micro bad, but I Think i probably would of lost even if there wasn't the bug. It was gg.

[quote]One of my problems with the carriers, is that they seem to be in there own little world. Most good close combat fleets, are meade up of HC, support cruisers, and some frigates. One of the things, that I have noted, is that the defensive cruisers, help to keep other ships, in the fight, while the offensive cruisers help with the attacks, coming from the HC. The other support frigates add to this, by adding firepower, defense against strike craft, and anti support cruiser work. But carriers

Ugh why did you bump this thread? I've been trying to get Haeso to 1v1 me for the past 4 days.

You don't use them against illums, you use them against other support nad CH's. For everyoen subjugator you have you can disable an enemy ship.. and hc's cost much more than them and are double the supply. Pretty much a no-brainer there, though their survivibility is low so what you don't disable can kill them fast. Their heal is also better than hoshinko's, but it's channeling.

TheRedMaw, making LRMS, the most used unit, the counter to Gaurdians is NOT the answere. Other support cruisers (Subjugators, Subverters) shoudl bhe the counter, and cobalts for tec as that's the closest thing they have to a disabler. If cobalts had enough range they could get in between waves of repulsion(assuming repulsion is fixed in how it works so there is some breaks in its pushing back) and if they properly autocasted(each other targetting different ability using units,

Some people have messaged me on irc about what I suggested for Vengance, thinking it'd be too powerful. I explained well I think just why it's god-awful now, and I don't think anyone will disagree that it isn't. But 1100% damage returned sounds like a lot. It's not though, as I was also saying with that to make it last 15 seconds with a 60 second long recharge. That's only 275% damage returned, essentially. The most major thing would be making it aoe. How

[quote]Vanechka: My main issue with Returning Armada is that it oversimplifies the game once it's up and running. The effort and skill required to counter Returning Armada post hoc, is far greater than the effort and skill required to manage it. I've often been frustrated by the fact that I had to spend a relatively large amount of time killing a lesser skilled player, simply because he had Returning Armada up and running. It's not much better to feel forced to attack the Vasari player first
