Use many more javs and a few flaks, or just use kodiaks and hoshinko's.

I've only lost to RA once, from HuntingX, in nearly 200 games played. Maybe I'm just "lucky". Or maybe I just know how to play instead of whining about a certain tactic.
Eh?.. Flak are fine. It's just carriers/strikecraft are such a piss poor unit for their cost.

umm.. if you want to go that way... you tend to have 7x the credit income as metal or crystal. That would make the cost difference even more in favor of javs. No, the 500$:100m/c is fair.

no repulsion doesn't need to be removed. :| Just the way it works is broken. And are NOT too ineffecient in destroying strikecraft.. wtf? carriers cost 2.5x what flak does. Shield mitigation is fine. (Advent can get nearly 90%). The rest i'll agree on, some more some less.
With how slow the pace of the game is, it's very easy to keep shift clicking to loop, and just a few clicks has the scout busy for a long time. A patrol would be nice though. I'm not saying it wouldn't be, I can just think of much more useful features I guess I'm trying to say.

Yeah you can sort of counter subverters by using far far better micro. But it's way harder than it should be. :) And IMO, it shouldn't require insane skills to counter noobing. That's why i'm not saying Subverters should have a teeny tiny aoe, or just effect one unit. Effecting a maximum of 7 or 8 units within it's current aoe size i think would be fine, especially considering subverters have to melee. If theres any imbalance in illuminators, it's their build time. 26 seconds to javs 23. 30 seconds would be good.

light frigs with am drain don't counter subverters that well.. It's not like the light frigs are immune to distortion field.. And no one is building fighters.

-25 shield mitigation is not +25% damage. It's more like +45%
IT's impossible for one cap to out run another within a grav well because the cap running away will have to turn. The one following can turn within the inside. Yes, it can run away if you don't pay attention and let the ai handle having your cap ship chase it.
