www.cheathappens.com They will have what you are looking for, but updating would be a good idea.
Bloodember
Check the website out for updates, they don't really update this thread all that much.
I don't think so, JasonFJ has stated in the past he won't put super ships in the game. Of course he could change his mind. Sins of a Galactic Empire has it in in though, which is the other Star Wars mod.
Make sure in your mod folder your mod is in is extracted right, not entrenchment/mod name/mod name/(files). It should just be entrenchment/mod name/(files) Sorry for the double post, it wouldn't let me edit my last one.

Eomega, great ship. I can't wait to play this mod.
Are you adding to the number at the top of the entity.manifest file? Just making sure.
http://www.sri-corp.com/mkportal/modules/mediawiki/index.php/Tutorial_V1.1 Here's a link to a tutorial on creating ships, uv mapping, and texturing them.
There in bin, you need to convert them to txt.
It seems to be working now.
I don't see anything wrong with it. What I would do is put the original entity files back in then modify one at a time and test them to make sure they work. This is what I normally do; when I even create a new ship I take an entity file that I like and rename and use the mesh I want, make sure it works as default, then edit the entity till it's what I want. Makes problem finding so much easier.
Can you post the code to an entity file of one of your capital ships you edited.
In XSI you have to export it as a .xsi then use the forge tools convert xsi to convert it too a mesh. Follow the tutorial that ZombieRus5 has linked and you will get it. XSI Mod Tool is free, no money to use it.
1.0 didn't have a mod button, you need to update Sins.
True you can use that but 3DS Max cost alot of money. I use 3DS Max 2010 myself and love it, but I have to use XSI for conversion and null points (since I can't figure out what nulls are in 3DS Max).
Just download XSI Mod Tool, it's free.
halojones19, You will need the 1.05 or earlier copy of the game on disc, then you can get the 1.05 patch for the game at filefront.com.
What version are you using.
It was happening to me as well, I just reloaded the page a few times and it worked.
Here's a place that has a model of the Sulaco. http://www.contentparadise.com/productdetails.aspx?id=2378
Jeycob, You need this Fix for 0.3E.101: http://www.filefront.com/14490439/Klingon_TyGoKor.rar extract it to the mesh folder in the mod.
Why not do it like the starbase constructor does it. It will create the mine and the ship will disappear.
edit: haha, well looks like whiskey got to your question also. His is much better at describing, so I deleted mine.
AppData is a hidden file, go to folder options and under the view tab (it may be called something a little different in Vista), and under Hidden files and folders, click on the Show hidden files, folders, or drives. Then click ok. Some mods do require Entrenchment, but not all of them.
In Windows Vista and 7 it is C:\Users\(your name)\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods-Entrenchment v1.03 (or version you have) for vanilla its \Mods-v1.17 (or version you have) For Windows XP: not sure. AppData will most likely be hidden, you will have to make all files visible.
