Ive fought in games with 6 hard ais ffa and I dont have a problem (most times I can get a ceasefire with all but one or two) unless I get lax about bidding for pirates. You can almost ALWAYS outbid them. Hard ai's dont start sending specific bounties to your planets for pirates till late game and by then you should have the fleet and deffences to handle it, unless enemies come in with pirates. Even then though fleet + starbase and defenses will win out though you will take heavy losses (might

I played the demo and it seemed ok. Nothing ground breaking but I will probably pick up the full version when it gets cheaper in a few months. So far the people complaining the most about it are Sup Com 1 fans (of which I am one). Its not as bad as they say, but it is quite different than the OG

If its possible with current hardcodes im in favor of seeing the alternate versions of the planets come back, expecialy the Urban planet. I Actualy liked a couple of the other versions better and it was alwys fun to have several diferent urban planets in one game and have them look diferent. Made me more attached to them :-). Other than that bravo as usual DS team!

The intent of the game is however you want to play it. Thats why they give you options. I myself always play with small fleets on becuase I dont like getting lost in the competiotion to get the 1000+ ship fleet. Others like to play with large fleets. Niether of us os violateing the spirit of the game. Sometimes I play pirates on, somtimes off. The new power of the pirates actualy make me want to turn them on more often. Even a massive pirate attack can be beaten back by a smaller player fleet
For Drahk and Shadow may add weapon [as ability - nanotechnological virus]. When player use this weapon against enemy planet, planet slowly lost population - for "zero". But we may add in research tree "cure" against this virus. Probably we may add special "medical" ship with "Cure" ability.
I like this idea. Also -100% to trade income since the planet would have to be quarentined

you had this right in the last beta and now in 1.0 its screwed up. when I start a game it automaticaly at maximum against (-3) with all factions and though I have a bigger fleet than another faction it stays at -3 or close too it. In the last beta (.95 i believe) it was possible to go for more civ labs at first becuase you could use the diplo tree to keep many of your oponants off your back and have a moderate fleet and defences to survive against the couple that wouldnt play ball. This was a

Im not sure if its DS or diplomacy (it never hapend in diplomacy before installing the mod) but im having a problem where the AI is offering me a pact and as soon as I accept it revokes it. Ill also offer it a pack and it wil accept and a milisecond later cancel it. Otherwise the current diplomacy build is working great

just have to say I just played the diplo build of DS last night after not playing DS for a couple months and I love the improvments Little touches like the pirates having thier own wepon textures makes a big diference. Plus I love the planetary deffence building. Any plans om changing it so each races looks different?

I agree with Volt here. I started this thread to deal with my specific Idea for DIPLOMACY not sins 2. This is the wrong section of the forums for Sins 2 sugestions. I keep seeing updates on this thread just to find that it has nothing to do with what I put forward. Still disapointed no devs have commented on it...

Yes three brand new ships. i cant see why they couldnt do this. It would be a direct military aplication of diplomacy efforts. I dont see why it would be too late to add this in. Ive seen moders do it in less time and they arnt paid. Id like to get a dev reaction to this idea though. It seems to me the correct conclusion to all the tec sharing in the pacts system. plus you would make pats stratigicaly based on which of the three hybrid ships you wanted. Ballance shouldnt be too bad either as

I dont like the idea of them not liking you for attaking thier allies. That just kills all the momentum you had built up to make pacts. as it is you lose pacts too fast because they move thier envoys and the envoy bonus drops like a rock. I really wish pacts wouldnt go away imediatly upon losing that envoy bonus level. Mabye like 2 under what it took to get that pact and you lose it.

So while I was thinking about all the various pacts are available so that one faction can share thier technology with the other for both of thier benifit, I thought of the logical conclusion to this. Hybrid cap ships! When you get to the top level of relations with a forien faction (and have perfored the right reserch). You have the option to build a cap ship that is a special hybrid of your faction and the faction your making the pact with (so there would be three different ones TEC-Advent,

Eh...I always thought that Heagmonia was pretty but it had realy slow and boring gameplay and there was just not any reason to build anything but battleships. Sins isnt nearly as purty (with bailknights and other mods it gets close) but its gameplay is much more entertaining, the sides much more diverse and just about every ship has a role in your victory. I like my space games like I like my women, mildly pretty but with a brain, personality, and substance. Heagmonia is a gourgoeus&nbsp
