I think the mass relays should be what you use to phase jump to other systems. so instead of going to the star, you go to the mass relay. Some people get this confused, but GARDIAN lasers are actual lasers, not plasma bolts like in starwars or sins. so it would have to be like the beam weapon that the advent has. just a lot smaller.
Option2
allegiance doesn't affect trade income, and later in the game with a trade chain of 5-6 planets, you can have a trade income of 120-150 creds/sec., so don't count out trade as a viable option.
hands down, cobalts are the best choice for attacking enemy light carriers. this is because fighters nor bombers do much damage to them. so if they are spamming carriers, spam back with cobalts.
thats a big dick move I like it.
for ships that turn and shoot form their starboard or port, the position it between the two enemy ships so that it can use it's secondary guns on the other side. 2 same level Kols vs 2 same level Kols have to be the better strategist to win!! lol
forming a bunch of mini-fleets is a good idea. For example, if you have and Akkan, then get the targeting computer ability. then you can make a fleet consisting of 15-20 LRMs with 15% increased range. (useful for defence platforms) then have a Kol with a bunch of your pure fighting vessels to support your other fleet. This is good because you can have the LRMs focus on caps or light frigs while your Kol-fleet takes out the support frigs and distracts the rest of the fleet.
for multi-player, build fighters almost outright, because the only thing anyone builds in multi-player is long rang frigs. have a few bombers with caps in case you run into another cap tho.
if you arn't next to an enemy empire, and you are in a team match of at least 3v3, then the other team will usually ignore you if you don't do anything, so building a bunch of kodiaks or dresdas is a viable option. just make sure you tell your team first, or they will be pissed til you save their asses end game.
TEC=crappy ships TEC=cheap ships TEC Strategy= build lots of crappy ships
Advent has the best, most expensive ships, so really the only wat to beat them is to have more ships. The other races should anyway, because they have better economies. If you are facing invincible illuminators, take out their military research stations, so that all of their upgrades for shields and weapons are gone.
you need to go to the galaxy folder (where you put it) and open the new map in notepad. change the version number from "0" to "1"
yeah, it's in the download section. you probably don't want to download mine, though, because mine is based off the solar system. there are a lot with choke points, however.
man, Aztec rex is right up there with mansquito. The altar where they sacrificed the hearts looked like it was made out of cardboard. Has anyone seen the movie about the harpies, and the guy who gets sucked into the past?
is it ethical to take those healthy organs and give them to those who are in need?
yeah, I think so, because why would anyone get upset that their organs are saving lives? The only people that would care is the family, and the would have to complete pricks to deny a vital organ to someone in need just to keep their phycopath son's dignity. (he wouldn't have much left anyway)
death penalty only for 1st degree murder. long time in prison for all the other ones though, and I don't think it should make a difference if it's a family member or not
so, you think the US should destroy china to keep it's rank as a superpower? or do you think that we could destroy china and stay a superpower?
Actually Iraq has, or had one of the largest armies in the world. I would have to say Great Briton and Canada helped out the U.S. the most.
Well that's because not very many countries have a large army, really it's only the US, Briton, and Canada (don't quote me, I'm guessing which ones) so being number four is like having 3 sports cars, and then the next best thing on the lot is a station wagon. It's still the 4th best looking car!
why does everyone think that we want to conquer Iraq? that would be the most retarded thing for us to do. were trying to get rid of the terrorism that is based in the middle east, not take over some stupid third world country. Anyway, I think Iraq is going down the tube because 99% of the people there are caught up in the "I have to kill suni's" or "I have to kill kurd's" crap, so they'll be blowing each other to bits for a while longer until they see that they're just being re
Wow, what are you smoking? If America dies, the world losses our technological advancement. Are we not, overall, the most high tech country right now?No, we are not that more advanced than other countries right now as this study shows: The 2007 statistics show China with a technological standing of 82.8, compared to 76.1 for the United States, 66.8 for Germany and 66.0 for Japan. Just 11 years ago, China’s score was only 22.5. The United States peaked in 1999 with a score of 95.4. -http:
You could just make the ship go slower for a time, then after a while they get repaired along with the rest of the hull. That would mean that they don't have to be expensive. Plus, you could do it just for capitol ships.
Don't doubt yourself, this is a really good idea, and you've made it happen in a great way. oh, and the hellcat's are awsome. you should have the flying fortress as the bomber.
upgraded fleet is easier to maintain, because you don't have to keep replacing ships
I have a question, how far out does a media hub broadcast? 2 connected planets? or is it unlimited and spreads indefinitely?
Indefinitely, but it slows down as it hits each planet, so it would take forever if you only made 1 culture structure.
It's been pointed out that capital ships gain much of their usefulness from abilities as they level up. Carriers would seem to be at a fundamental disadvantage if they don't gain experience from damage inflicted by their fighter wings. If fighter-inflicted damage doesn't translate into carrier exp, then carriers level up more slowly, and are therefore limited. Granted, it would be pretty awesome if you could get one to a really high level, but I honestly don't see it happening.
<br
you can at least look at making ship models, their are actually a lot of them shown in the game, like when you get to the citadel, and at the very end.
